Him and his wife came to our church today and gave their testimonies, a history of their Solid Rock Foundation and outreach to teens in our downtown area. What a treat! I was totally inspired! Very funny and down to earth people doing the Lord's work.

Alice (born Vincent Damon Furnier) rededicated his life in the early 90's through a Billy Graham crusade. In 1994 he released 'The Last Temptation' CD, labeled as his first 'Christian album'. Those in the Christian rock/metal scene having been buying his music ever since. While not often 'preachy' in nature, his albums since do reflect his faith.
He was the son of a pastor & actually never stopped considering himself a Christian, or pro-devil/evil, or anti-God. He just got wrapped up in the 'character' of Alice & of course his drinking got out of hand, like most rock starts, so he had a long period of 'backsliding'.

Crazy concerts I know that! I saw him hang himself one year. Was sort of a jaw dropping experience to say the least. Good to see him back from the backslide. Haven't so many of us been there?
