The wait is almost over :amen:
Just to recap the end of last season:

Nadia escapes the CIA safe house to meet Sloane, who tells her that the Sphere may be compromised because The Covenant has solved the equation. She says that she purposely altered the equation - The Covenant is looking in the wrong place. She and Sloane venture off together to find the Sphere.

Syd and Lauren fight. Lauren says that Syd still doesn't know the truth about her life. Lauren is about to finish Syd off when Vaughn shoots Lauren dead. Before she dies, Lauren tells Syd that the truth is in box 1062 in the Bank of Wittenberg. Syd and Vaughn kiss.

In Wittenberg, Syd opens the safe deposit box and finds top secret documents. She cries as she peruses files documenting her life, each one bearing Jack Bristow's signature. Jack enters and says she was never supposed to have found these documents.

Oh come on, I thought the show that replaced it's time slot (Desperate Housewives) was much better. ^_^ That is sarcasm for those who are confused.

I love Alias..completely ridiculous plots, and unrealistic in every conceivable way, but it is fun. And there aren't many shows out there that are just fun anymore.

So I've decided to watch the premiere tonight because I want to see what all the hype is surrounding this show. In the past several months I've come across so many fan sites for this show, it blew me away.

I've never seen a show before. Am I going to be totally lost by just starting with this season?

Where can I find a recap?

Don't do it.

You have 3 seasons with surprises if you don't. If you do watch it, it will be like getting each of those seasons spoiled. Join one of those dvd rental programs like netflix and work your way through all 3 seasons. The first two seasons are a blast and the third is ok.

Do you think Sloane had a hand in Irina's demise as well ('cause then nadia would have to kill him too)? Was there a contract on Nadia too? What happened to Irina's sister? Lena Olin (Irina) was fabulous in that role. I wish they didn't write her off.

Marshall is too funny!! He is the best comic relief in a drama (there should be an emmy nomination for that).

I didn't read this thread till just now because I taped the show and didn't watch till tonight...
Anyway. Lena Olin was asking for a ton of money to come back. I think they wanted to have her in the show back in the 3rd season. I would be happy if she were to come back...which wouldn't be that far fetched for Alias.

Lost + Alias = an Awesome Wed night

Redguard, you will be happy you waited. Season 3 isn't as good as the rest, but I enjoyed it. Season 4 seems to be back to what was expected after seasons 1 and 2.

I am a bit bothered that they 14 in the corner has S and V listed for the Episode 1 and Ep 2 previews. It would be better if they don't push the envelope on the sex thing. If they do it in every ep, they might end up pushing me out. OC did that. The first 5 or 6 episodes were great, then... well then it became the show with the good beginning and one less viewer.
