Thankful for her cooperation, I knew I'd have to work hard to earn that trust she just placed in me. I turned back to Jimini.
"So Lucas, what's wrong with Algerinai?"
"It won't come out."
"What do you mean?"
"It's isolated itself in onispace. It won't talk to anyone or anything. All the major computers that needed it to run have frozen."
Onispace, the onima representation of cyberspace. The three dimensional representation of all the computer code floating around in the computer lines, given a strange form of existence due to the onima interactions with it. Like cyberspace, it's created by computers. Unlike cyberspace, you could physically enter it. Actual use of onispace was illegal though, or banned by OnTech. It could be entered by virtual reality interface, or by actual physical transference. I'd have to go in after Algerinai. Wonderful.

I listened quietly. so something was wrong with the computers eh? Served them right after what they've done to everyone.

The car began to slow, finally stopping. Sinderella and I were let out, as many of the thugs surrounded us with their onima staffs. They would probably lead them to some kind of interface to hack into Algerinai's bubble of onispace.

"I can get us out"said Mark."It maybe hard to beileave,but When I worked for OnTech,I was a guinea pig for experiments".His hands glowed Green,and then he realesed it,blowing up the cell.The thugs tried to stop him,so his hands turned Blue,and he hit them,and they flew across the room,making cracks in the wall."Lets go'he said,turning and running.

I stared up at the buildings. The last time I had been here, it hand't been quite so big. They had obviously been adding to it. WE were ushered into the buidling, then shoved into chairs. Our legs and hands were tied until further notice. They left us, saying they'd bring us food or something.

"So what's your name?" I asked over my shoulder since we were tied back to back. "And how old are you?"

 

[Lee Fey]

"My name is Frost. Kaine Frost. I'm about twenty six years old. I was one of the scientists that built Algerinai, the artificial intelligence that runs most of this. I'm surprised the city's running so well on backup computers."

Mark lead Lea outside."Woah,we've been in the city this whole time?"he asked.They were in the very middle of OnTech.They had been adding on,it seemed.It was huge.They walked for what seemed hours,but they went on floor after floor.Mark had genetic enhancments,but he could only control a few.Some of the others came up when something drastic came up.That happened.Mark was in a white room,Kaine and this other girl were tied back to back,and they were talking,then it shifted.Above the door was this"2A,FB"3which ment snd room,hall A,Floor B."I know where they are,come on!"shouted Mark,and ran off again.

I raised my eyebrows.

"You don't look 26," I remarked. I didn't say it out loud, but he was pretty good looking. I shook my head. "So you worked here and help build this thing?"

 

[Ninjitsu14]

Mark ran in the room,and snuck in."Shhhhhh"he whispered.He untied them as fast as he could,before the alarm sounded.

"No, wait," I tried to tell the man. "We can't leave."

 

[Morwen]

I tried to pull away.

"No! We have to stay!" I said, then stopped. "Wait a minute, why do we have to stay?"

"Why,and my names Mark"he said,kinda giving them that he trusted them,if they trusted him.

 

[Lee Fey]

"As much as I hate OnTech, millions, billions of people's lives depend on Algerinai functioning properly. If I can fix it, I have to try."

 

[Morwen]

I looked at him.

"I'm going to help," I decided out loud. "I need to. So what happened to my..family won't happen to anyone else's."

 

[Ninjitsu14]

"Oh,well,I hope you can do it fast,cause here they come!"he shouted as they came running down the hall.

 

[WhiteLily]

Lea came rushing in with the little boy in tow
"Kaine your alright! Mark led us here, but I couldn't leave the kid."
Lea changed suddenly into a blue bird and landed on the boy's small shoulder
"Dang it! I didn't mean to change. That normally happens when I'm under magor stress."

 

[Lee Fey]

I was about to say something, but the room got filled with OnTech guards. They lifted their staffs. I raised my hands.
"Wait," I tried to tell them, "it's okay. We're staying. As long as we get to help Algerinai. As long as we all get to help Algerinai."

 

[Ninjitsu14]

"Kaine,if thats your name,we have to get out of here,NOW!"he said.He put the boy on his back,"come on!"he ran outside into the hall,only to be hit by a blaster."Dang!"he said,looking at his bleeding arm.He looked at the boy,he was fine,he just fainted.

 

[Morwen]

I looked around, then made the mist appear, making me seem to disappear. I wasn't going anywhere. Just having a bit of fun.
