It was beautiful. Of course. But it wasn't real. I walked towards it, waiting to see what it would do. Suddenly, as I got close, it flared into brilliance, blinding me. I put my hand before my eyes, so that it wouldn't completely blind me. I waited until the brilliance faded. Before me stood a young man, about twenty looking, but with a silver goatee and and a silver hair crew cut. He smiled welcomingly.
"You've finally found me. Welcome, Kaine. I'm glad you made it, I was waiting for you. I knew they'd send you, and I needed to talk to you."
"What you're doing is threatening the lives of millions of people in the real world, how could you??" I was furious.
"I never planned on letting it go that far. We need to talk. Here, all of you," he waved all of us closer to him. "Hold my hands, and each other's. I'll take you to a safe place, a haven, where we can talk in peace."
This was his world. This was going by his rules. I nodded towards the others.
"This is the only chance we have to end all of this and go back. What do you say?"

I kept running, leading the (things?) away from the rest of the group, until I was exhausted. I was about to give up and let them capture, kill, whatever to me, when I just dropped...into a hole it seemed.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed, landing on my back. "Ooooh, that's gonna hurt later."

I slowly stood up, rubbing my back. I looked around at the walls. I appeared to be in a firewall type of...thing. I sighed.

"Great. How are you supposed to get out of this one, huh?" I muttered.

I pounded on the walls with my fists, resting periodically. It seemed like hours had gone by. I wearily beat on one side, when suddenly it caved in. I screamed as I slid down a neverending funnel. Finally, it tumbled out and rolled across the ground. I groaned and lay there for a few minutes, unmoving. When I decided to get up, I was knocked down again, by a...dog? I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I wasn't. It was a cyerdog...a sniffer of sorts. I reminded me strongly of a blood-hound. It stopped and looked back at me, as if it expected me to follow it. I got up and decided it was worth a shot.

10 Minutes Later

After exploring practically the whole level we were on, the dog finally led me to...it couldn't be. Kaine? Mark? Lea? They were standing in front of a huge jewel it seemed. And there was someone standing in front of them. I walked to the doorway and leaned against it, just watching. It was highly unlikely that I would have ever found them again, yet they were standing as real as life, right in front of me.

((I'M BACK! lol. Did ya miss me? Heheheh))

"Guys, this whole thing has been a kind of dream for Algerinai. Algerinai, the computer, has come up with all this stuff in its mind, we are in its dream. This man, this is Algerinai, this is the representation Algerinai wants to use to communicate with us. It had to chose a way to do that. This is what it chose, a man. It chose the form of a man to talk to us, to communicate with us."
I watched the ones that were with us. Lea, her alleged father, and Mark. They all looked confused, a little at least. I wanted to help, to explain better, but I didn't know how. Than, a movement caught my attention. I turned to see Sinderella, apparently appearing out of nowhere. She had made it! And she had found us! Aw, a grin broke on my face, and I wanted to run over and hug her for surviving, but I controlled myself, and simply grinned like a two year old.
"Sinderella," I muttered, not capable of speaking any louder, "you made it.... Are you ok?"

I smiled. Kaine had a huge grin on his face...reminded me of a two-year-old who just recieved a present. I walked towards them, the hound running ahead of me.

"Yep, I made it in one piece," I said, almost there. "Except my back does hurt from falling in a firewall hole."
