I am struggling too, it is so very hard. I have gotten to the point where I feel like satan takes over my body when I drink. I think I have multiple personality disorder, because I do things that I would NEVER do sober! I can only say I will pray for you and just incase you don't know this you might need help. Go to AA or something, there you can talk about it with people who know what you are going through. Other Christians who don't suffer may not be very sympathetic. Also, get someone to pray with you who knows you. Admitting to those close to you (who do not know) will make you more accountable for your actions. Maybe you already have, I didn't read any replies, I just read the request I quoted. It helps though, but do be careful, as I said, not everyone will understand. OH, and if you are an alcoholic, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DRINK SOCIALLY, I am not yelling, I am strongly emphacising that point, once your body crosses that line, one drink will turn into as many as you drink on your worst night. eventually, if not now, trust me! We will beat this, God can do anything! God bless you
B:pray:

If you honestly want to depend of the LORD for all of your salvation (help, defense, needs ect) I would not recogmend going to AA since it is not Christian, but goes under the guise of accepting HIGHER POWERS. As you may know we are struggling against POWERS in HIGH PLACES, i.e. demons. Their is no HOPE without CHRIST, you must give up, you must do it the LORDS way not the WORLDS way. I only say this trying to edfy you, in a spirit of love. If Christians don't have empathy for someone bound by sin, THEY AREN'T CHRISTAIN. Christ came for the SINNERS, who are we to ignore them? May the LORD show you HIS grace, power and love.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. What can I say, I've now been dry for 20 days. The Lord has taken the desire to drink from me; I can now walk past the beer in the supermarket and not even be tempted! And I've no desire to ever drink again, I'm just hoping this decision doesn't turn me into the dullest guy on the planet! Anyway I know I can have fun without a beer. The Lord's pointing out other parts of my life that need sorting out now. God Bless you all.

May the Lord continue to bless you with the strangth to stay away from things that are not of His Perfect Will. May He open only the windows that lead to Him and close those that don't. Glory to God. Amen
