History: Alan's father was a scientist, and disappeared one day. Alan and his mother knew he hadn't been kidnapped because two of their suitcases were gone, and his things had been rummaged through and a lot of things taken. His secret file cabinet he kept locked shut was open and empty. Alan and his mother started thinking, and searching. They only found something about "Chimeras" Alan and his mother were Christians, Alan's father, they never could tell. After a little more searching, they mornfully concluded that Forde, his father had left to work on the project. Alan's mother and Alan kept living, although it was different now. Alan's mother Maria grew ill, but Alan was not going to let her die. Eventually Alen went to college, leaving his mother alone in their new smaller house. His golden retriever lab mix named Bat Man went with him. Luckily in this dorm, if the animals were well behaved a limited number of two in each room was allowed.
