You are imputing all sorts of motivations without evidence. This isn't the argument at all.

No one defended mean remarks. Nor defended a pastor doing this stuff. Neither is a good or admirable thing to do online- or anywhere.

It certainly is not the reason someone kills himself. A long path occurred before that ever happens.

A deeply caring and sensitive person was publicly ridiculed and condemned by people who are no better. He wasn't able to endure it, and the condemnation of this dead man continues by those who are still no better than him. There's nothing to argue. It's obvious what happened and continues to happen.

That's happened to half the population about something, somewhere along the line. How many kids are bullied about stuff? He, a full grown adult man - and Pastor, for goodness sakes - did a stupid thing; they did stupid things by commenting on it.

No one caused him to do what he did.
