I'm not from Alabama but I have tons of family there. My mum was born in Florence. My uncle currently lives in Leighton.

Live in Maryland now, but share ownership of a house in Gulf Shores with some family members.
I still go back several times a year.
Somebody earlier mentioned Lambert's. I can dig it! That place is fantastic. Not only is it a lot of fun to dodge the rolls, but the food is unbelievable.
Between Lambert's and Lulu's, I should be about 500 lbs.
I can eat Lulu's L.A. Caviar by the bucket full.
