CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Agree somewhat there was some really bad tv on back in the 60's too, like hmmm get smart, and the brady bunch, nobody is really that happy all the time grrrrrr lol.

Agree somewhat, lol I have an older half sister, but I haven't seen her since I was like 11 so we don't really class her as my sister, because I don't even know where she lives or her last name.

Disagree. The only way to get negative things out of my mind is to resolve them.

Agree especially with my middle son, and when they are in the younger grades, why do they insist we sit on those teeny little seats. I'm a bit woman, my bottom doesn't fit on those teeny little seats, my goodness, and i"m always terrified they are going to break and i'm going to fall over. Yep I just send my husband now.

Hmmm... considering summer just ended here in the Northern hemisphere, i'm not sure how to answer. I could just skip this but I'm here and typin so I'll just keep going and I will say that it was hot at times this past summer but overall not too bad but still not too my liking. As I'm in the Southeast U.S. currently I could answer that winter this year will be mild, i guess, because it can't be as cold as it is in say, Montana.
