You might call it protective; no doubt she (and others, including me) would have other words to describe it.

There might be only one thing you could ever want from a much younger girl; to imagine that that is true of all guys is simply arrogant.

Indeed, I think if I really just wanted a sexual relationship, I could just start calling local adult personals...but im not into that. Id rather have a loving lasting relationship.

Every issue that has been addressed in this thread can either be avoided or delt with in a way that is pleasing to God if both members of the relationship are infact of adequate SPIRITUAL maturity... At least when it comes to christians.

And yet Christians have much the same problems as non-Christians when it comes to relationships. Amazing, huh?

Then I have to wonder why you are bothering posting to this forum at all.

As for "I have not complained about anything except for being misunderstood," again, let's see...

You said:

"No one hear is taking anything I am saying with consideration nor an open mind and are reviling me."

Here you have complated that (a) nobody else on this forum is acting with consideration, (b) nobody else on this forum has an open mind, and (c) everyone else on this forum is 'reviling' you.

Looks like your claim that you "have not complained about anything except for being misunderstood" was false, too.

It appears so. I think that peace (as far as discussion goes) is various people putting forward their opinions and discussing each others'; you think it is nobody disagreeing with you. In that case, I'd warn you that you'll never find your version of 'peace' on these forums...or, indeed, anywhere outside your own bedroom.

The human and worldly perspective is the only one we - any of us - has or can have. We are all human, and cannot be anything else; we all live in the world, and cannot live anywhere else.

Oops! Another mistake. Even Jesus said it can be broken, as a result of adultery.

No offence, but I do not believe you.

And I think telling a woman to stay with a husband who abuses her under any circumstances is bad advice. And you know what? So do the people who have made helping women in this situation their lives.

Then I fervently hope you never encounter any woman who is abused by her husband, and if you do, I fervently hope she takes absolutely no notice of your advice.
Should I even bother??? **thinks** Yeah, definetly not worth it... I wish all persons were as wise and discerning as you, Electric. You're right and always were, forgive me questioning your vast knowledge of.. umm... everything.

Peace.

And, again, rather than respond to what I posted and actually discuss the issue, you'd rather throw a few insults and avoid the subject entirely.

Again, I have to wonder why you even bother to post on this forum.

Insults? I was just simply being peaceful to your demeiner that you put on this thread.

Heh, in reallity, I have no reason to defend myself. Not only is what you seek already in this thread but even if I did try responding to you in any way, it would all just get thrown back at me with the same regard as yor previous posts. In other words, it is pointless. Besides, you don't believe me anyways :) sorry, like morningstar, I will not play your silly argumentive game.

I will admit that I took a step too far when I used the statement revilalar, but... oh yeah... I need to be peaceful.

yeah, I am sorry, for real. Can ya tell it's 2 15 AM?? I SURE CAN!

"Demeanor." Apart from that, I've no idea what this sentence is supposed to mean.

The "silly argumentive [sic] game" is called discussion. Yet again, if you don't like it, I don't know why you post on this forum.

I post cause people ask questions and I answer. Some like what I say, some don't. either way, want them to know why I believe what I believe.

This is a discussion forum, the point is to read and write and form new ideas.

I'm not going to make any judgement calls about the main topic here. All I have to say is that I married a women who is older than me and we've had a wonderful relationship without having any problems due to the age difference. In fact, just this past year in the 15 days between when she turned 35 and when I turned 35, I couldn't even see a difference.

you also said you put me on ignore, I am greatful to see you didn't (or at least took me off)... Did I dodge all of your questions? I thought I only "dodged" the translation/interpitation question. If there are others besides it, I will greatly answer them.

If I had a 15-year-old sister, and she was dating a 19-year-old, being protective I would make her stop dating him. There's only one thing a guy wants from a much younger girl..
I have read other posts that share the sentiments stated here, but some obvious things seem to be missed. I don't think you (or anyone else) would like it if another controlled your life to the point of stating whom you may or may not date.

More importantly, that whole "There's only one thing a guy wants..." position does not apply to all guys. Rather, it seems to be more of a projection of one's own desires. There is absolutely no way we can unequivocally know the motivations of either parties involved. Women like sex just as much as men.

Yes...it is not sexual. But that can happen.

However...even it is not about sex, there is still wisdom in waiting until both parties have at least finished, or are about to finish, high school. I'm not saying they can't see each other, I'm not saying it is horrible. I am saying it is a good idea to stay friends until both parties are at least around 18. This shows maturity on both sides, and allows for some important maturity to take place.
This seems to be saying two people cannot love and date each other without some sort of sexual involvement. Not only is it possible, but many people do it everyday. Besides, nothing spectacular happens when someone turns 18. I have never heard of a Maturity Fairy sprinkling wisdom dust on people.:) If there is, I missed my share! lol

The two people of the OP actually seem pretty mature for their age.

I completely agree. You know Im dealing with something similar, but Im waiting a year. But it's not my place to force others to, if they are really in love.

Indeed, Ive herd of relationships with a 15 year old and an 18 year old. The gril is the one that wanted sex, the guy told her he loved her so he couldnt for at least 2 or 3 years. She ends up dumping him.

It's not about sex. Something does happen during grade 12, and after gradution: maturity. It's not a magical "you turn 18 and the Maturity Fairy comes". In fact, that's a pretty immature view of it all. Instead, it is a process that starts around grade 12 and continues for the first few years of being in adult world-sometimes it take up to a decade.

Again, a 15 year old and a 19 year old can be good friends. But in today's society, a 19 year old is just begining on the path to adulthood, and a 15 year old is still in the throws of adolecents.

Lets see....Im not really that much different than I was in 11th grade....Im in college now..So I really think it depends on the person..
