  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Not if you're 24 & she's 14.

I don't see how 10 years gross, but I think when you start getting into that range where you're spouse is closer to your parents age than your, well, then just eww.

Grossness aside. I think it would be difficult to make a marriage work if their is essentially a generation gap between you and your spouse.

Well.... I've heard of situations where there is, say, a 14 year old and a 24 year old. If they wait until the 14 year old is at least 18 to date, it could work out.... but its more difficult... after all an 18 year old is beginning life, about to go to college (maybe), finally an adult... and the 28 year old is probably thinking about settling down, having kids.... or WHATEVER... they're just in different stages

Why would a anyone in their mid 20s be interesting in someone who is barely a teenager?

At 25, I can barely tolerate being around anyone who is in high school for more than 5 min. The length of time has grown shorter and shorter with the years. Maturity--- physical, mental, and emotional-- is lacking.
Now, if we were talking about someone in their mid 20s and someone in their mid 30s, I believe that 10 year difference is exceptable. They both a adults, have more in common, and have more similiar levels of maturity.

It's people in their 20s who check out high school girls, who make me want to lock my daughter away until she is 30.
