i gave into porn earlier tonight. i was driving home and i was feeling really lonely. i havent had a girlfriend in so long anf my last attempt failed miserably, and i still struggle with that. for the first time in a long time i willingly went onto porn sites and baraded my mind with images. i feel awful now, i prayed and repented but i still feel awful. i feel like i lessend my chances with that girl even more now because of this. why did i let this happen

thanks brother. i used my computer for list again yesterday morning but thats it, im not letting myself slip again. being lonely doesnt give me a "get out of jail free" card, my actions where uncalled for. today is day 1 of recovery from this

I'm glad you don't want this for yourself.

You have to realize that "not letting yourself slip again" is not going to work. You need to put some action behind your words.

Not letting yourself slip means that you need to tell someone about your sin that WILL hold you accountable. You need to beat this thing! But it can only happen if you do it by God's rules.

tough struggle huh? the icky sicky habit... I called it because I hate it. it's icky, and it's sicky, and most people(I was one of them) think they can enjoy it's pleasure hiding from the light, which makes it hard to recover from.

ICKY and SICKY. so... you're struggling with masturbation now? even after 5 months? at least now I know why the struggle for purity was a life long commitment. BEWARE!@! For the devil comes as a roaring lion! stay vigilant!
