  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So you believe a believe can become possessed?

Not possessed, but a demon can interfere or a person can be bound by a demon.

Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”

15 The Lord then answered him and said, Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? 16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound - think of it - for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

I just do not see the big deal of a man messing around on his wife. To God it is disturbing as He is good and perfect but us humans are far from perfect and most here have committed the same crime so why worry about what this guy did and just mind your own business and pray for a better day tomorrow.

It boils down to .....

The guy is in need of some love making

His wife will not provide it to him

He goes and gets it somewhere else

Just because he gets his love making from somebody else does not mean he does not love her and wants a divorce. As he is not going to throw out the baby with the bath water.

It just means he needs to fill his desire to have love making that his wife will not provide.

It is not a hard subject to figure out.

Well most women want a divorce when they find out that that is the case, so why not just tell her? They're living like brother and sister anyway.

No, just write them and they will change it. It usually takes about a day but it is easy as they don't care.

This is where I am have problems with the modern woman. The modern woman gets a divorce at the drop of the hat now days. It is like that have experiences they need to experience and the first is marriage, and then they want to experience having a few children, and then the experiencing of having a divorce. It is like they do not even try to keep their marriage promise to God. Marriage is for better or worse, not until you have the want to experience the emotions for divorce. I believe this is the reason I do not want to be married and it is because the modern woman is taught by social pressure that you must experience a divorce to be a modern woman. I will not marry and accept divorce and I know most women get divorced at the drop of a hat now days.

Yes, same for the wife. If I marry her it is through thick and thin, better or for worse.
I have had girlfriends that messed around on me and I have messed around on them but it was not the end of the world. It hurts but life goes on and our duties to each other are a stronger bond than the mistakes that try and separate us.

At least I hope so.

For women love making is a mental emotion in general and for a man it is physical fun.

Why throw away a whole marriage because somebody need an itch to be scratched and went somewhere else to have it scratched.

How about letting the bond of a life time of love and raising children together and build a home together and growing together be stronger than one failed action.

If I have a whole hand full of Hershey Kisses all unwrapped and ready to eat but then I find a black jellybean in my hand do I throw out the whole handful of kisses or do I just see what I need to do to make this black jellybean more desirable by eating it with something good.

Look if a man messed around you can forgive him if he wants that and if he didn't do it because he just doesn't love you anymore and he wants a divorce, but if he keeps on messing around and doesn't convert it's a Biblical reason to divorce. My grandmother divorced and felt very bad about it. She wasn't really modern, but he messed around with the whole neighbourhood and when he went to the wife of his just diseased brother it was enough for her. Divorce is not Always sin, adultery is.
Lol later her reverend asked her to marry him and she said: Reverend, even if you decorate my house with gold I will never do that again.

Yes the Bible says we are allowed to get divorced for adultery but only because our hearts are hard.

First of all, no matter what view one takes on the issue of divorce, it is important to remember Malachi 2:16: “I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel.”

According to the Bible, marriage is a lifetime commitment. “So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate” (Matthew 19:6).

God realizes, though, that since marriages involve two sinful human beings, divorces are going to occur. In the Old Testament, He laid down some laws in order to protect the rights of divorcees, especially women (Deuteronomy 24:1-4).

Jesus pointed out that these laws were given because of the hardness of people’s hearts, not because they were God’s desire (Matthew 19:8).

So getting divorced is allowed but not wanted and it produces no blessings in general in my humble opinion.

Yes but if a man isn't even a believer and has no intention of stopping at all he is the one who's hard, let the unbeliever go. You're called to freedom. There isn't a oneness anymore. It's destroyed through the adultery, which only can be mend if he converts.
I would feel like sinning if I stayed in such a marriage.
Later my granddad had a great marriage with a former nun, he had become impotent.

What if a married man bought himself a magazine filled with pictures of beautiful women and took it to the restroom with him when he went and he used that magazine to help himself ease some stress in his life.

Is that ok to do or is he once again messing around on his wife.

Is the crime with a magazine a cause for divorce?

My ex had been watching porn, but since I never saw that and had no idea what it was lol I thought he had been looking at some half naked women when he confessed it to me and said: oh sure I forgive you, no problem. Lol I didn't even know until 39 that they did not only look. ^_^ He got deliverance prayer for it. Then years later he was tempted again. But he didn't just Always watch it, he was hesitant to tell me but I was glad he did since I don't have that problem, so I just kicked some demons out of the house and then he said he wasn't tempted anymore to watch it. I didn't take that personal. I'd never marry someone who doesn't want to be set free from that though. God gave me a dream. I saw three women, but they weren't women, they were demons who dressed up like women and they were just so ugly and fake and he just walked after them and I thought: how can he not see it? I rebuked those and kicked them out of the house and the problem was over.
