I wonder if the AFA really thinks a big company like McDonald's even registers them. They probably have some PR intern write up a press-release just to appease the jerks and continue doing whatever it is they were doing.

I agree. Companies like McDonalds and Ford are too big to care about a group of crazies.

Not sure I understand this one? They are more afraid of a lawsuit brought by HRC than they are of the AFA? So, are you trying to claim that the AFA is so little of a threat that a nuisance lawsuit is more of a threat than the AFA boycott? Since Ford ultimately controls their own money, any lawsuit brought by a gay group that loses funding would be tossed out of court.

As for those couple of photographers -- they clearly broke the law of the state they were located in by discriminating based on sexual orientation. If you go to New Mexico and a photographer refuses to take pictures at your event merely because they are Christian (even if they are gay photographers), they will have broken that same law and you can sue. Not funding gay groups (what the AFA claimed the boycott was for) does not break any laws, nor does it provide any group with a basis for a lawsuit. And not sure what "thousands of parents in California" have to do with a business being afraid of being sued.

You may not have heard of the first company on the list, but I hear they're getting bigger in the U.S. It also appears that they may have slightly altered their logo for the festival.

That's funny. Bud Light was the first thing that I thought of off the top of my head.

If they want to claim that, then they failed miserably.

It is never tiring watching people cower in fear of the Gay Agenda. Corporations are as soulless as it gets. Anything and anybody that will make them money is a good place to throw some support.

My sister (8 foster and adopted kids), and many, many, many other Christians I know, have foster children. They adopted children from the kinds of people that hold Carlin in high regard.

Ford is losing money because, let's face it, Ford just doesn't know how to make a good car. I highly doubt it has anything to do with homosexuality because you wanna bet that decision made several thousand people WANT to buy a Ford? Just like the McDonalds thing. The only difference is a McFlurry isn't as big a dent on your wallet as a car. Especially a Ford.

Weird, I like Carlin and I've never done any drugs at all. I must be doing it wrong?

Carlin was funny most of the time. Some of his bits were too weirdly political for me though. His stuff about who owns US, priceless. His work on abortion, I can only assume he never really researched what he was talking about.

Carlin was hilarious most of the time. Other times I think he laid the satire on too thick. I understand everything he says isn't supposed to be taken seriously. But you can just so easily cross a line from funny to hurtful. :\ But he will be missed. He was one of the few honest comedians left.

Most. 85 to 90% of them.

I have been working with these kinds of kids for over two decades.

And, I am not against anyone (over 21) being a foster parent as long as they have no criminal record and have a nice place.
