Oh, I have another question. My friends were going to go get a job yesterday on campus. Do you think maybe I should try a couple weeks out first and then try to get a job or just get one now.

I want to make sure I can handle all that I have on my plate first before I tackle a job. What you do think?
Glad to know you're looking for a job!

I found a job my freshman year at a student business on campus, it was probably one of the best things I did the entire year. Aside from having extra spending cash, it's helped me be a bit more involved with life on campus (which can be tough for me cause I commute to school), and also helped me learn to manage my time better (which is something that you need to learn).

Good luck finding that job :)

Well having one year of college under my belt I can say this: be careful of the friends you make. The people who seemed so cool in high school aren't the same in college. I agree with the others about appearance, dress nicely but don't get too carried away, otherwise it looks like you're just trying too hard. Time management is a huge key to success in college life. I recommend keeping a planner or something of that sort so you can organize your time wisely. Other than that, there really isn't that much left to say. You will survive.

Also, beware the calories in Ramen noodles, mix it up with some veggies and leave out half the seasoning, it will serve much better and be healthier for you.
