ADDs on CF

How many people have been seeing adds all over this site. I've read a few posts now where people have commented on the adds that show up on different pages when they are looking at posts. I've never seen any adds on CF and I am beginning to wonder why other people are seeing adds when I never do. I wonder if anyone else doesn't get them, or if I am just lucky.

I don't get ads because I donated like 20 bucks last year. I think it was 20 bucks.. I don't know how much you have to donate to get rid of all the ads but I think it's well worth it if you post a lot. I heard some of the ads are pop ups too. Anyone know if this is true?

So if we don't want to see ads, do we just donate once, or do we need this Firefox stuff, or both, or what??

I don't mind seeing ads, but when it's for things like "Asian Girls" and "Gay Thug Lovers"...that's just offensive.

And yes, there are pop ups too. SO annoying.

I use Firefox, i don't get pop ups but there are adds ... meh so what, i developed this skill where i don't read or click on things I'm not interested in.

I thought I was the only one who saw the gay thug ad. KOF there are some things that are wrong for a Christian site. Ads encouraging homosexual behavior are not appropriate. And I don't know why I should sponsor a so called Christian site that makes some money from gay or lesbian dating sites.

I've seen worse ADDs and I think Lee D is a very sick person if he's ok with this sort of thing.

Really sick of the Ads (there is only one d) too! I also think that is why this site runs so s l o w (for me) now too. But I cannot support a site that makes money with all these ads especially the ones that are against Biblical principles.

money corrupts intregity. At first I kind of liked Lee. Than I started to move into slight disrespect, and than I moved into massive disrespect. now i'm well into the realm of hatred. If Lee keeps making such horrable and arregent choices I don't know if i'll have a word for how much i'm gonna end up hating the man. He has not done ONE good thing for this site.... not one. He CONSTANTLY ignores the voices of the other users.... he's, quite frankly, a huge fool. I mean what could possably be next?? Are we gonna end up seeing pornagraphy ads on this site??
