It's you who hasn't got a clue as you have shown now and other threads
Is it possible to stop throwing around insults for 5 minutes and contribute sensibly to this thread?
The subject of the OP was; is addiction a sin or a disease?
Your first post on this thread did not give an opinion or an answer; you said:
Those who have addictions are under judgment.
Which sounds as if you are saying that they are a sin - though you never actually said that.
A couple of people, including myself, thought that a bit harsh, and said that we shouldn't judge others. Someone asked that if someone needs painkillers prescribed by a doctor and becomes addicted to them, are they still under judgement? Your reply was "yes".
From then onward, every time somebody quoted a verse about judging, you replied with part of a verse, taken out of context.
The spiritual man judge all things.
In 1 Corinthians 2 Paul is talking about the difference between human wisdom and the wisdom that is given by the Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 2:14 he says that someone who does not have the Spirit cannot accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to him, he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
In the next verse he says that the spiritual man makes judgements about all things - which I feel means whether a teaching is from the Spirit or not.
We who have the Spirit are able to discern Spiritual things; whether a teaching/prophecy or whatever is from God, or whether it is something that someone has decided themselves, using their own mid and logic, which may not be controlled by the Spirit.
That verse is not a final statement on the subject of judgement.
Jesus said that we are not to judge others, Matthew 7:1-2
Jesus said that God has given him the authority to judge, John 5:27
Jesus said that if he does judge anybody, then his judgements are correct because he cam from the Father.
Paul said that at whatever point we judge someone, we are condemning ourselves, Romans 2:1.
Paul asked "why do you judge your brother?" Romans 14:10 and said we should stop passing judgement on one another, Romans 14:13.
Paul said to judge nothing, 1 Corinthians 4:5.
James asked "who are you to judge your neighbour?" James 4:12.
Now we are told to be discerning and test the spirits - which may include an element of judgement. But again, that is judging, or discerning, spiritual things as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:15. Scripture does not contradict itself, but we may need to look at all Scriptures on a subject, and in context, to be able to understand what it is saying on that subject - not just pull part of a verse out of context.
Your terse statement that all addicts are under judgement is not a spiritual thing, it is a matter of opinion. And it is part of a verse pulled out of context.
You have not tried to explain what Paul is saying here, especially as he says elsewhere that we are not to judge.
You have no offered any opinion/information about how someone may become addicted, or why you consider it to be a sin - just a blanket condemnation. Which you repeated:
Yeasha says the spiritual man judge all thing but will not be judged by no man, your lost and can't see or hear the truth blind guide.
No; PAUL, not Jesus, said the the spiritual man judges all things.
If you are going to throw around insults and basically accuse me of not being a Christian, it would sound more impressive if you got your facts straight.
