I didn't mean to insult you or anything. I know peace is a virtue but I guess I like wanted something else in mind. I like the other one you thought of though. Gentleness for water and faith for wind. Now what kind of setting would you guys like more? Future, fantasy, modern, etc...

What would everyone think if we did a Lord of the Rings add on . . . when Frodo etc. are leaving for Valinor? I would LOVE to do some writing about Valinor. I know the sequence of events and everything . . . *sigh* I even have a map of it as the cover of my science book. :D I know, I'm not supposed to be tampering with my schoolbooks but my teachers just smile and shake their heads. GO the PERIODIC TABLE! Not really.

We could also do an add on about some elves/humans who remain in Middle Earth, and we can talk about the reshaping of the lands, etc. We could make up another sort of series of Lord of the Rings later on in the history when Melkor/Morgoth returns to Middle Earth (I'd be Melkor/Morgoth) and there's a whole another war of the lands over some other thing. The earliest wars were over the Silmarils, the next ones over the Rings of Power, and I could think up a dozen things to fight over for the next war.

What does everyone think? Which idea? Give me yours!

Okay, each of you say ONE or TWO words (not including articles [a, an, the, and]) that relate to an idea of your favourite plot style or something that you would put as a main occurance in an add on. Something cool, unique.

i'm not too sure, but here goes:
- battle (individual)
- development (of the character through the story, say... something to do with his past - yeah, this's more than one word, bear with me)
- magic
- humour!

arrr.... sorry, i think i'm going offtrack.... anyhow....

to will's idea:
i rather like Kookaburra's gentleness to water.
wind: wisdom/patience?

to Kookaburra:
i dunno.... never tried a LOTR rpg as i'm not too familiar with the book.

I might move to wisdom for wind. Or maybe patience, I don't know.

Kook~
I like the movies, but I'm not all that into the books and run-ons and stuff. I joined one once, and I got really bored with it. Everybody was all quoting this sorcerer and this elf and saying let's go visit there and let's go here. I just couldn't keep up with it. I'd like post with everybody in a city and then I'd be reminded that they were like traveling again. So in other words, LOTR add-ons are too much for my head to handle.

so it's wisdom then? :)

Vixen Evenstar, first to join an add-on, you've to read the plot in the first post, which basically sets out the beginning movement of the story; then you make up your own character.

from then on, you write and read other players' posts, use your imagination and plan your next move. :) If you're not sure, just read the first 3 pages of an add-on to get an idea.
