Add-on: Legacy of Magic

Welcome to the Add-on RPG/Story/whatever you want to call it created by Paladin44 and Servant77!

 

This is not a thread where you post a new chapter or whatever, this is a place where you create your own character, obeying the rules, and tell the stroy of them as other players do the same. 

 

I'd prefer there not to be an amazing amount of players on this thread, maybe about ten max.

 

The Rules are as follows:

Rule One: Don't involve another character's player unless they allow you to.

Rule Two: You may only have a single group of characters in one place, except for a short time.(Example: A character gets separated from another and they meet up later and rejoin forces.)

Rule Three: You may be a Good or evil character.

I may create more if I see anything inapropriate being done.

 

Story

 

As the "apacolypse" ended, the world of Siaya was left with only 50,000 humans.  From the desolate wastelands of the Horrid Desert that the "apacolypse" left, dark and evil demons arose.  The demons flooded into the world and killed off many humans.  By the end of 10 years, about 40,000 thousand of the remaining humans will killed by the demons.  With little hope left, all that the humans did when they saw a demon was run and hide and hope they weren't found.

About 400 years after the "apacolypse," a new hope arised from an evil person.  The foolish King Geltar of Kagaia Castle ventured into the the Horrid Desert trying to find something that would give him the strength to kill all the demons and rule the human world.  King Geltar traveled deep into the desert and found a giant crystal that had limitless energy filling it.  The king used his sword to shatter the crystal, but, he was stabbed as he did it, so instead of filling him with energy, the crystal's power scattered over the world and filled many humans with great magical powers.  From then on, those humans and their descendants have used their powers to defend people from certain destruction and plan to restore the human race, but, they know that the only way to do that is to kill all the demons that dwell on the planet...

 

Your characters may only have one magical skill and one ability of expertise.  There are no dwarves or elves in this story, so you can't make an elven character, but, some humans, with their magic can live up to be about 200 years old.

 

So come and have fun creating your own characters and writing about them in this thread.

"One day, the streets will be full of people again, and the Raifleen Demon Army will no longer attack our bueatiful home of Kagaia. I welcome that day with open arms, the day when I can walk into town by myself, and know my people are safe." King Matthias looked from his window down into the paved streets of Kagaia. He smiled at the thought of the demons no longer torturing the world. He moved from his window and went through the large door into a long hallway. He walked towards his bedroom, but was interrupted.
"My liege! The Raifleen are attacking!" The Captain of the knights, George exclaimed. The king rushed with George onto the nearest balcony. They could see the Raifleen army gathering in front of the city.
"Why!? Why do they constantly attack us!?" George exclaimed.
"Are they planning to attack? It's the bright of day, they have never attacked at this time." The King remained calm. He ran into the main hall and out of the castle. His steed, Thane, awaited him. He mounted it and rode to the town's main gate. The Raifleen stayed strangely patient in waiting for the king. As the king approached, he asked, "What do you wish, Raifleen?"
The leader of the Raifleen, Genei, galloped forward on his own demon horse. "We wish for aid, King Meneras."
"What!?" King Matthias looked at Genei with disgust, "After all the suffering my people have went through because of you and your hellish army!? I will never aid you!"
"A new enemy, the Yakonn Demons, have flooded into our hideout and killed many of us. Their army is much to big to fight by ourselves, if you do not aid us, the army will surely come and decemate your people and your town. You have no choice but to join us, for the sake of your people. We will wait for your answer, have it by noon tommorow. Remember, this effects your fate as well as ours." With that, Genei and the Raifleen moved away from Kagaia.
"How could I ever help them, but, on the other hand, my people are at stake too. I'll think about my options until the deadline tommorow." Then, the King rode off back to the castle.

The meeting was held, the meeting to decide if they were to help their arch enemies.
"No, we cannot aid those devilish creatures!" Captain George yelled' "For ages we have defended our town from these monsters! How can you even ask us if we will aid them!?"
"Please, George, if we do not aid them, then the stronger army will come for us, and if they are strong enough to destroy the Raifleen, they can surely kill us off too."
"But, their army maybe weakened by then!"
"That maybe so, but we cannot take such a risk."
"But we don't even know if this army exists! We cannot be tricked by the Raifleen! Please King Meneras, you must hear me out, if this is a trap, then we will probably die off."
"Are you willing to bet the whole city on that hunch of yours, captain?"
"If we are killed in battle, then there will be no one left to defend these people, and the king of Kalminaria will be dead! Are you willing to trust the Raifleen with your life, King Meneras?"
"We will have to, if this army exists, then we are in grave danger, and since my word is final, I say that we shall move into battle with the Raifleen. Captain, that is my final say, we will move out with them tommorow." The King left his chair and went out into the hall. All the other knights that attended, left too, all but George.
"That fool of a king will get us all killed." George got up after everyone had left, and went to his quarters."



The next afternoon was very windy and very cold, the knights suited up with heavy armor to keep warm. The kights moved out at noon. As they traveled, they met with Genei and the Raifleen army.
"What is your answer, King Meneras?" Genei asked, calmly.
"We will aid you, Genei, but we will not attack until we see this "new" army, you will charge first, if there is no army, I will kill you."
