When ever he chooses?

Toss out the woman with the issue of blood.

And this as well:

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

I guess his name worked some times and maybe.

Quote: "In the old it was a works driven thing: follow the law".

A few questions based on the above statement:

Did God give His grace to do the law in the old testament (OT) about which Paul says that he was blameless (Philippians 3: 6)?

If Paul had done the law and was blameless by God's grace, wouldn't God have given the same grace to anyone who sought Him in the OT?

If the OT people also had sought His grace rather than depend on their own strength and resources to do the law, wouldn't they have done the law as well?

So is there a difference between the grace that was given in the OT and in the NT wherein God's grace came through our Lord Jesus Christ?

Was the grace given in the OT only sufficient to help them reach Abraham's bosom while the grace given through Lord Jesus help the NT saints to be reconciled with the Father?

Was that the reason that prompted Paul the apostle to consider moving forward to seek the grace that came through Lord Jesus, which was able to take anyone right to the Father's presence rather than boast about having done the OT law without blame?

So eventually was the old covenant designed by God as a "works driven thing" or was it just that many of the OT people chose to make it a works driven thing?

"Bob, what would put a Christian under His authority to you?"

Take MY Yoke upon you and LEARN of me - etc.

"And what would put them NOT under His authority?"

"Lord, y'all just do things the way I WANT THEM DONE (because Ive got the authority).

"Do you have any bad employees?"

Yup -

"Are they under your authority?"

Not really, and if they don't PLACE themselves under my authority in a hurry, they'll be GONE - shortly.

Paranthetic, I've found by bitter experience, that when a person carries his Christian Testimony too "Up Front" in an interview process, it's a good idea to "pass" on them - since you'll only have to fire 'em for non-productivity later.
