PleaseA birthright cannot be purchased, which sent Jacob on a journey back to where he came from, a land that bears the name of a son that is cursed; and there was peace between Esau and Jacob after the death of their father ... a pattern.
By the cross HE willingly laid down his life for the sins of those who would believe in HIM
When God defines something as good, it is without flaw, i.e. perfect. If something had any flaw, it would not be good, i.e. imperfect.
If you had a glass of pure water with absolutely no contaminates in it, and if you were thirsty, you would drink it because it is good to quench your thirst. If one drop of cyanide was placed in the glass, would you drink it? If you are rational you would say no, since you know that water is no longer "good" because it has been contaminated with poison.
Did God make Adam imperfect?
You could always review Daniel's logic according to Daniel 1 to see if you understand what Daniel understoodYou picked a very bad analogy there. You should look into what the actual consequences of drinking pure water with absolutely no contaminates is.
Did God make Adam imperfect?
I beleieve like time adam is realtive to the indivdual. Was Adam a real historical individual or an archetype of modern man?
The Jews wrote and rewrote the OT books. Their history claims are vastly exaggerated, they became false prophets. Their writings shouldn't be taken too seriously.
If I asked you if God is perfect, would you say yes? Thinking you'll say yes, if I followed with, "Was Adam made equal to God?" I am thinking you'll say no.... so would I. I think Adam was made perfect in the sense of a lack of defilement but he was not made to be equal with God. Therefore, he had to, by definition, be made "lesser than God." @Aseyesee asks if Adam was made imperfect and I would say no... but I would also make sure it was understood that Adam was not made a god, He was not equal to God. God has no ability to sin, He is light, He is life, He is pure righteousness... but Adam had the ability to sin. Perfect... but with a caveat. When God had finished all of creation he saw that it was good.
To implie that Adam was not perfect is to say that God's judgement of creation was imperfect and that God is not capable of making a sound judgement.
No sirTo Jesus, the son of man was the son of God.
You won't find the body of Jesus, it returned to the elements and he returned to his rightful place on high.If they found Jesus' body, and could prove through DNA it was him it wouldn't matter to me. I have entered into the gates of the city, and have found just as it was said where the kingdom of God is.
No sir
The title THE SON of man means first and before all sons
So that HE alone shall have the preeminence and authority over all creation all creatures al flesh
Adam and his partner Eve arrived on the evolved, previously populated, fallen earth as the worlds new rulers. They were the replacement for the fallen Prince of this world known as "the crafty beast". "Like" for tone and a brotherly response, but I am not sure I agree... which doesn't make any difference anyway.Adam and his partner Eve arrived on the evolved, previously populated, fallen earth as the worlds new rulers. They were the replacement for the fallen Prince of this world known as "the crafty beast". In their place in heaven they had never been disloyal to Gods will, they had never sinned.
After a short period of time Eve was outflanked by the suggestions of the "beast" to speed up the recovery by mating with Cains real father, a Nodite leader. That was the sin, that was strictly forbidden. That was the sin.
Hmmm...when Isaac, old and blind called for Esau, did not Jacob come instead with a plan formed of deceiving his father into receiving the birthright? Please
Jacob received the true birthright because he did not sell (like his brother Esau did) what he should not have sold for temporal treasures that do not last
