There does seem a huge irony here with Trump acolytes, aka Republican congressmen, accusing Schiff of "falsehoods" given that Trump is guilty of so many falsehoods. I couldn't find in the OP (and video) and quite a few of the early posts what were the exact words Schiff has said or written that are meant to be "falsehoods".

Has Schiff lied about the weather, or the boy scouts, or that coronavirus is equivalent to flu, or that Ilhan Omar supports AQ, or about the trade deficit with China, or didn't know about a pay off to Stormy Daniels, or that the noise from windmills causes cancer (and he could be President again ) or that he was Michigan's Man of the Year ?

Ok the windmill thing was prefaced with "they say" but isn't it dangerous to repeat kooky conspiracy theories from a position of authority?

This is a thread about Schiff allegedly lying about trump, not about the thousands and thousands of lies trump has told the American people and continues to this day with the lies. Yes this is about the one or two alleged lies Schiff said which got him censured.

I suspect people would, if anyone here could articulate exactly what the exact comments were that Schiff made that he was censured for. Instead, we get vague comments about how Schiff allegedly lied about Trump, so it would appear to be on topic to examine claims Schiff made about Trump and evaluate the truth of them.

I'm still waiting to find out what are the exact words of Schiff's alleged lies. And Trump is not irrelevant here given that Schiff is being accused by Republican congressmen.

There was a minor issue with his foundation getting shut down for fraud. Or was that his "university"? Hard to keep the convictions straight.

And now he's in a bit more legal trouble, and rather than a fact-based defense of the guy we get stories from the far right about how bad a democrat was for talking about the evidence for his campaign's earlier legal issues.

It is very easy to keep the convictions straight, there are no criminal convictions. Again it is not the responsibility of Trump to provide a defense it is up to the prosecution to prove there was a crime. That seems to be clearly understood when it comes to Biden, Clinton or other liberals but not understood or considered at all when it comes to Trump maybe that is why we have a majority of the public that feels that we have a two tier justice system.

That's behind a pay wall for me. I was looking for the exact words in this thread. Are they cited? Given your knowledge of the issue maybe you could write the exact words of Schiff's "falsehoods" in a reply.

People are trying, but for some reason the posts asking for details of what Schiff has done wrong go unanswered.

So perhaps the apparent off-topicness of posts is that no one has any idea what the actual topic is supposed to be. Starting with the OP.

Just the courts ordering millions of dollars paid to the plantiffs. Kinda like Donald's sexual assault case, I guess.

There was a long period of time at the beginning of his presidency that even the Republicans distanced themselves from him because they thought there was something to it, and when Mueller was appointed it certainly doesn’t help your poll numbers when you are under investigation
