When were you ever serious? I love your sarcasm. I was raised with that kind of humor. We even wrote the book on it.Do you feel it's necessary to use a serious discussion on theology as a springboard for these kinds of remarks?

Can you answer the question of why did God confuse the language at the tower of Babel? Why does Jonah call it a "great fish" ...
Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
... when Jesus calls it a "whale"?
Can you answer the question of why did God confuse the language at the tower of Babel?
Are you saying his remark accuses you of blasphemy? Is that a trick he uses to get away with flaming people?
Nah, we're all doomed anyway. 4th chapter of Jude: "Neither shalt thou believe in evolution, else you'll go to hell and .be roasted over a slow fire and basted with soy sauce and green onions for all eternity. Selah"
No science can bash the Bible. I do see people use science to bash problems with translation and interpretation of the Bible. But many people use it to bash the Bible.
Sedan Hussain tried to rebuild the tower and he failed. Some say -- (and I think it's plausible) -- that He confounded their language, so as to stunt the growth of technology, which was starting to get too far advanced for the time.

Sounds a lot like Neil DeGrasse Tysons simulated world. From the scientific perspective in terms of space-time, God created the earth with evolutionary events, including dinosaurs, Neanderthals, etc., embedded in it.

The problem with the world being simulated is quite a fundamental one - our world is not binary, but quantum-mechanical. And thats most probably impossible to simulate.Sounds a lot like Neil DeGrasse Tysons simulated world.
God gives us science so we can have a better understanding of our Bible. Science collects evidence that God gives us to examine and study. Archeology has been used for over 100 years to prove that the Bible is accurate and true.True science can't.
But false science* can.
I think the Bible says Babylon will never be rebuilt. As far as I know, no one lives there today.Babylon is due to be rebuilt.

Archaeology will not and cannot prove the Bible to be the word of God; however, when archaeologists do their work of digging and sifting in the Middle Eastern part of the world, they find ancient sites that are consistent with the Bible's account.Inexactly.

How about this: There is an objective "physical" reality. This reality is independent on the Bible or on our knowledge. It simply is. We can get to know it gradually, correcting and expanding our knowledge.Let's put it this way then:
Where archaeology supports the Bible, archaeology is right; but where archaeology disagrees with the Bible. archaeology is wrong.
How's that?
