What can we use to keep ourselves accountable when we are single? Accountable of our emotions, truth, celebacy etc. Any Suggestions...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is the toughest nut to crack i can tell you that. When you're overcome by them, you'll die(metaphorical) to get out. Been there and it's really a biig struggle. Only thing that kept me going was Jesus and understanding people to talk with.

Hmm, u mean bible truth or your own character? Well, i think for the latter it's good friends and reliable ones..where u can joke with and talk serious with. That would be a good mix for me. But you might like one who is serious all the time. Depends on you. For the former, probably someone who knows the bible more. Doesn't need to be older than you but usually that's the case.
Now that's a big question mark. er...ok i guess this requires a friend whom u can really talk heart to heart. Oh it can be the same one as i mentioned above who is not afraid to correct you and who knows you well. (u'll have to develop a deep relationship for him to know you well)..it takes 2 hands to clap. So if you want a good friend, you gotta make the effort to be a good friend. Also, if the other person is not responding or whatever, probably both of you won't click anyway so move on to another person..Greenriser said:
