God does not have a sex; the terms he and she denote male or females of the human race. God is not a human, nor is God a male or a female.

Therefore, God is not a he.

IIRC, the original Hebrew uses a generic "it" which was translated as "he" to avoid objectifying God. As for Jesus referring to God as his father rather than his mother, it makes sense for that to happen in a patrilenial society. The lineages of Jesus's parents are traced through the fathers, not the mothers, after all.
