Absurdities of so called science

So what determines how real something is... is how much opposition it faces?

Let me repeat:

When F & L document their histories in a book that leads to hostile governments trying to eradicate it w/o success, when F & L write the history of a nation in advance, then fulfill that history with 100% accuracy, when F & L become the prime target of atheists and scientists on an Internet forum, then --- and only then --- will I consider elevating F and L from that of mythical characters, to that of false prophets.

Show me a book, written by either a fairy or a Leprechaun, that currently has a nation built around it.

Then, having done that, show me within the pages of that book the history of this nation, prophesied in advance, and fulfilled with 100% accuracy.

(And this is just the easy part.)

Well, there are many other nations built around religions that were written by other Gods. India, China, Japan, Australian Aborigines, Pacific Islanders, etc.

Then, having done that, show me within the pages of that book the history of this nation, prophesied in advance, and fulfilled with 100% accuracy.

Well, the Bible's prophesies are not 100% fulfilled. Some "prophesies" were never meant to come true, such as Ninevah's destruction. Some prosphesies have not come true yet, as I am not in the fiery lake as of this moment. Many religions have prophesies that they claim to have been fulfilled!

Dad, just fyi, I believe that prior to the Fall, the whole universe (i.e. all of God's creation) was operating on a higher plane of existence called, for lack of a better term, a "glorified state."

I don't know what all this entailed, but Scripture does hint at a few things:

1. We had a different rapport with animals --- w/possibly the ability to converse with them.
2. We had glorified bodies --- immune to suffering and death.
3. Everything was in its purest state of existence.

Comparing this state of glorification with the Milennial Reign and Eternity Future, we pick up:

1. The ability to go from Point A to Point B instantly.
2. The ability to walk through solid objects.
3. The ability to lift and carry tons of material?

Imagine, as we are rebuilding the Earth after the events of the Tribulation, one guy saying to another, "I need 3 tons of iron over here," and his co-worker just picking it up and bringing it over.

Or imagine us placing Uranium in a reactor with our bare hands.

What I'm wondering, is if God is going to completely return His creation to its pre-fallen state, or if He is going to make the New Heaven and the New Earth even "more glorified" than His Genesis 1 creation.

Interesting. I didn't know we were that close on this. So, where I take it further, is extending the different state till after the flood, so as to make the flood a real possibility, basically. And I do have some scriptural reasons to do that.


About the new heavens, that is a good question. One I have not come to a satisfactory conclusion about yet.

It does seem that the millennium is strikingly similar to the pre flood time. A man that dies at a hundred years of age will be called a child, fast crop growth, etc!


If God had the one universe planned for Adam, and another is needed for the new Adam (Jesus), that is fine by me.

But I am not sure, of yet.

The issue is sex in heaven, there, and if you think you can neuter it, let's see you try! If there are kids, there, sitting with the lion, what, the stork brought them? The sons of god, in the past, thathad babies with daughters of men, what, storks bought them too? Get a grip. Get a case.

The future state of the universe, of course, as you suggest, is important. Not something we woulld want to try to fine tune with unbelievers, that really are of limited grasp of the issue, of course. No need to mix chemicals in a witch pot, to get these numbers. And, unlike your temporary state numbers, they are not pi in the sky! Work on that.

The whole passage clearly prophesied the sack and complete destruction of Tyre by Nebuchadnezzar. However, the vivid description of the sack and fall of Tyre never happened. After a siege of thirteen years, until 573BC, Nebuchadnezzar lifted his siege on Tyre and had to arrive at a compromised agreement. Thus Nebuchadnezzar did not destroy Tyre. Tyre was destroyed by Alexander the Great, 240 years later. And furthermore, despite the prophet, the city of Tyre was eventually rebuilt.

The middle east is absolutely littered with the ruins of cities and empires. Pick one; predict its ruin; be a propher.

The Nile, like all rivers will go dry and disappear some day. Rivers are pretty ephemeral in a geological sense. Waiting for that one to go dry and fulfill a prophesy will be pretty boring.

I dont see any claim of biblical prophesy that is any better than nostradamus' predicitons. Vague, no time frame, and open to any interpretation.

In any case prophesy and its fulfillment seems contrary to the whole bit about how you have to have faith.

Evidence of flood carefully erased, no miracles performed anymore, etc etc...i if miracles and prophecy was done you dont need faith, or so I am told. is that so?
