Russian media has put out a video showing the destruction of an American Abrams tank, which was outfitted with Abrams Reactive Armor Tile-1 (ARAT-1) explosive reactive armor, by FPV (First Person View) drones.

The destruction of the Abrams tank shown in the footage purportedly occurred near Avdiivka several weeks ago. The video, according to the Russian Defense Ministry source speaking to Ria Novosti, showcases the moment when the American tank, equipped with the ARAT-1 armor mounted on its hull aprons, succumbed to the attack.

Although the tank’s tracks and rollers were purportedly protected, the FPV drones were still able to destroy the US-made tank.

Setting aside the obvioius Russian propaganda, it is true that militaries are having to adjust to the presence of drones on the battlefield. Just ask the Russian Navy....or whats left of it in the Black Sea. : p

Took them long enough to get the first one. Ukraine has had the Abrams for almost a full year now.

I'm not convinced it is even US reactive armor. (It could be.) The Ukrainians seem to share the same fascination with reactive armor that the Russians do. Western armored vehicles first show up in Ukrainian service with out them and then some with reactive armor show up. When they do the Ukrainian analysts always identify the armor as the Soviet/Russian type of ERA blocks. Perhaps they are missing similarities with US-type reactive armor an misidentifying it. I don't know.

No type of armor is impenetrable, just ask the operators of the equivalent Russian T90M tanks. (At least the ones that survived.)
