Wolseley:
I appreciate ALL the time you've taken to read and comment to my posting. And I will say
this to you on the part of Mary having other children...that we shall agree to disagree and
leave it at such. I for one will look into this bit to know for sure in my heart. Thank you so
much for your time. You have some valid points which indeed merit looking into. :)

I look forward to your discussion on the rosary....a devotion. I am most interested.

It is a pleasure to meet you. I see God is doing a work along the lines of denominations and I
am honored that the Spirit took time to speak to me about my catholic brothers and sisters.
Only God is a righteous judge on all matters. :)

The Hanging

From a crouched position I rise,
desiring an unobstructed view
Tears wiped, observing them more
clearly in the dim and fading light

Dressed in anguish, the victim's
mother huddles between two women
Sharing this tragic time, their
mutual agony as one in depth

I survey the dark wrathful sky,
watching as the opaque clouds swirl
Flashes of lightening silhouetting
him as a languid marionette

A glowing flicker illuminating her
gentle face, pale and twisted in grief
Even the ancient earth trembles, seemly
distressed at this man's passing

There hangs her first born son,
battered, bruised, and lifeless now
Center stage for this mass
gathering, his final bow taken

His pronounced sentence and reward
is an unjustly death by hanging
What ghastly offense did he commit
except to love his fellowman?

My eyes offer pity to this grieving
woman though she sees only him
Flesh of her flesh, bone of her
bone, torn from her breast

Grasping her cloak, tearing it in a
desperate attempt to ease the pain,
Moans increase knowing there is
no relief for a broken heart

Gravel digging her dropped knees as
strength betrays her fragile form,
Her soul's eternal torment cutting
deeper than a two edged sword

She gazes at his gruesome upturned
eyes, lifeless and void of warmth
Limbs limp and loose covered in
his own recently shed blood

His shoulders slumping forward as
they dislodge him from his perch,
Seeming as if the weight of the
world had been bore there

They'll bury him in a borrowed grave
deep and dark hidden from the eye
A discarded garment for a shroud
to accompany his exodus

The hounds of betrayal and murder
nipped at his heels since before birth
Only a miracle keeping him safe till
his appointed hour with death

Ripped nails from his hands and feet,
an engraved map of his destiny
She acknowledges silently his earthly
travels have come full circle

Spiritual revelation replaces the veil
over the heart, stunning my person
An inner voice whispering of the
ancient mystery now brought forth

Crown of thorns on his head and
roman spear in his precious side
For the sake of all nations this
innocent man had willingly died

I had a reply all written out to you, but I had a modem malfunction and lost the whole works. :( But I will get a reply to you sometime today.

Blessings, :)
