To me accidental pregnancy/unwanted pregnancy and abortion is the very worst form of abortion. Get rid of unwanted cats and kids, just kill them off. Doesn't matter that the baby is a human being, possibly even of the opposite gender to the mother, in this society the unborn has zero rights and the irresponsible mother has all of them. Adoption should be the standard. So what if she doesn't want a child, the baby didn't ask to be conceived. she should have thought about that before getting pregnant, should have been more responsible in the first place. The unborn should have as many rights as anybody else. This is where the government should be helping. Programs in place to make sure the mother has proper medical care, food and a roof over her head if she is in poverty. I'm sure if these women had to go through 9 months and give birth half of them wouldn't get pregnant in the first place or it would be the first and last time. But no these unwanted babies are vacuum sucked to bits and placed in the garbage while the mother goes off and gets pregnant again.

It's not a fetus, and in my view not a human being during the first trimester. It has no functioning brain, no sensory input, and has never had a thought.

So what if she doesn't want a child, the baby didn't ask to be conceived. she should have thought about that before getting pregnant, should have been more responsible in the first place. The unborn should have as many rights as anybody else.

You're trying to grant rights to the unborn that nobody else has. There are no circumstances in which a born human has the right to attach themselves to another person without permission. You can't force someone to donate blood or a kidney, even to save a life. Neither can you force a woman to donate her uterus.

I'm sure if these women had to go through 9 months and give birth half of them wouldn't get pregnant in the first place or it would be the first and last time. But no these unwanted babies are vacuum sucked to bits and placed in the garbage while the mother goes off and gets pregnant again.

The zygote has yet to develop its brain but the genetic part of its personality is already there waiting to develop. The brain starts to form on day 23 with all organs and systems in place by week 8.
Babies in utero do act differently from each other and that is well established come birth. Apart from genes the mother's mental state has an effect as does music and hearing the fathers voice regularly. The fetus hears from 18 weeks, by 24 weeks the baby is sensitive to sound and from week 25–26 responds to voices.

The documents making up that book are written by human authors, many of their stories are much less than credible, and certainly don't make the god character they portray to be a decent entity, just the opposite.

Yes Ben Shapiro has some good points. He points out some of the illogical and contradictory ideas some have about abortion. One being an ad by a Hollywood actress who is showing off her nearly full term pregnancy while advocating the rights of a women having an abortion. Shapiro makes the obvious point that why would a women who is obviously proud and looking forward to having her baby then suddenly wake up one morning and think "today I am going to kill my almost full term baby". But this is the illogical position of the leftist PC culture who will advocate rights to the extreme at the expense of all else without thinking about the consequences.
