Can anyone tell me whats in the fetus is not a baby and if not then why are we murdering innocent babies. Why would we allow this to happen. Just for personal convenience. Who gives another person that right and just for sex. Now they want to take the lame and disabled and the elderly. Let just say if your born you have to give up your life for convenience of others at the ripe old age of 30. we debate right and wrong debate this. maybe we will debate are selves out of reality.

Not once formed. For your statistic to be true, we would have to include fertilized eggs as well, BEFORE implantation.

Out of six children, I only miscarried one BEFORE it was fully formed i.e. at six weeks gestation. None were miscarried after being formed.

St Augustine drew the distinction between formed and unformed fetuses. These days the abortion clinics request that a woman waits until AFTER the fetus is six weeks old before having an abortion so that they can view it on the monitor. There is something very, very wrong with that policy, IMO.

Usually, when an unformed fetus (i.e. an embryo, blastocyst or zygote) is naturally rejected by the woman's body, it is because there is something wrong with it. In other words it is non-viable or severely handicapped. This natural occurrence is very different to people going to the abortion clinic and waiting until after six weeks gestation, when, in actual fact, because it has not been naturally aborted yet, the embryo is, most likely, not severely handicapped.

Also, there are stages of development which should be respected. Once the brain starts being formed (before six weeks gestation), some people believe that the child's soul is present. That should be respected.

The idea of abortion does not sit easily in my heart. It does not seem right to kill babies either born or unborn.

I do need to think more about the issues though.

To say that God murdered that baby is to say that if you die a natural death then God murdered you.

That simply doesn't make sense and is false.

A baby that dies in the womb naturally dies because of sin in the world. Having sin in the world means that no woman will perfectly be able to carry every child or that not every child will be formed perfectly healthy.

BTW: I am pregnant with my 8th child and have NEVER lost one baby.

Me and my wife did invetro also and it weighs heavy on our hearts. This is messy and they say no one nows. they are wrong and i believe you have first hand experience The thought of blood on my hands for a selfish desire kills me inside. for us they said some weren't good , so they suggested to throw them out . so we agreed,but the holy spirit tells me I'm wrong in! we wanted all to be put in all 12 and let GOD decide. They said no and i was selfish and wanted and went along with even though i felt it to be wrong. We are playing in GODS domain. These are all GODS children.GOD FOR GIVE US One almost attached ,but we we lost them all. No more playing GODS for us. We will love one of GODS children from some other means.People can justify anything especially when they it want (WANT IT REAL BAD) doesn't cut it with GOD in the end. Life is on conception its not just tissue.

With that said you will see people rise up yelling, "What about the mother's life!"

Of course if the mother was going to die, then so too would the child. But these cases are actually more rare then people who support abortion would like to think.

For being pregnant in the very beginning is almost never harmful to the mother, it is usually when the baby gets larger that the baby imposes the most harm to a weakened body.

In many cases the baby can be removed by 5 months which will help the mother and the child live. Recently a local TV woman here in my area had very bad cancer, she underwent chemotherapy while pregnant and had to have her baby removed early so that they both may live.

They removed the mother's cancer and the baby is doing well.

I am a mother of 8, have lived under the poverty level, have never had family support, always had 1 income, been treated worse then dirt for having as many as I have had and yet ... God continues to provide for us. We live comfortably, with a lot of love and deep faith.

I praise God that he knew better then I did the blessings these children would have on our lives. He certainly does provide and certainly does know more then I could ever comprehend.

one of my sisters was raped and Loren had na thing to do with the act he was and is innocents of it all and he has been a blessing to my sister and family. My other sister ;however , had abortion on just messing around and she is a mess the guilt is eating her up inside. She doesn't really date she doesn't get close in any relationship and she is getting older.Thoughts of suicide. She dills with depression and i would like to know where is the people that said to her it will be all right. Its not all right

It should remain legalized and regulated.

The issue here is not whether making it illegal will make less babies die. The issue is prevention through education. People will still get abortions even if it's against the law. The law hasn't prevented people from becoming crack and heroin addicts!

Through this I mean various programs that try to give people an understanding of the gravity of even having sex and how greatly it could affect someone from everything from babies to STDs to just emotionally.

People are always going to be selfish and think of how things affect THEIR lives first and foremost. Why are we not focusing on this and posing the issue of convenience to them before they even have sex???

If someone who was so convenience-minded had the point driven home to them that having unprotected sex could potentially cause an incredibly "inconvenient" situation for them I think the issue would be addressed.

With the amount of education and the ease of access to protection there is no reason for abortion to even be an issue in this day and age.

It's better to dam the river than deal with flood damage later.
