Two separate issues. One is dealing with salvation, the other is dealing with the sin of our nation.

If you do not become born again and repent of your sins, you will get thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity.

I would have to agree with your analysis - I am anti-abortion and anti-death penalty but I don't believe in a vindictive, wrathful Creator.

this is the only abortion thread recently posted that i'm not going to use to take a stand against abortion.

i haven't exactly blacklisted SoF, but feel like SoF is attempting to use reverse psychology to defeat christianity and any position remotely in any way connected to christianity

and so, have less ability to change a person's mind, or even have my own mind changed as a result of rational discussion, in this thread, than i do in any other

If you're really looking to convince someone to not have an abortion, this ain't the way to go about it. So far all you've done is demonstrate that you can quote Bible verses that back up your position that abortion is wrong.

A much better way would be to name alternatives and explain how they would be better than having an abortion.

If the alternatives are truly better, then they will be chosen. If your alternatives aren't better, then devote the time that you would otherwise be using to simply condemn the behavior and find a better alternative. This would be much more compassionate than simply condemning a behavior.

No, actually it is not that simple. For abortion to be murder it would first need to be classed as homicide under the law, it is not, and then be illegal which it is also is not. Please stop abusing legal terms to make appeals to emotion.

While abotion cannot be classed as murder under current law I argue that pro-life people who say abortion is murder simply do not belive what they are saying that or they take no real issue with murder. If pro-lifers actually viewed abortion as murder they would be laying their lives down to stop it rather then just bemoaning the immorality of their nation.
