I cannot believe that there is no Yu-Gi-Oh! thread on here. There is now. I want to hear which deck is everyone's personal favorite and which monster(s) are your favorites!! Mine is Kaiba's and Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. How about you?

I don't play anymore, but I haven't sold my cards yet...So right now my favorite is Chaos Emperor Dragon.

There is something about it that got it out of Japan and into America.
There is also something about it that has made it popular for so long!

What got it out of Japan and into America was the fact that it's a fad that they can make money off of, nothing more. The reason it's remained popular for so long is for mostly the same reasons -- it's a fad and people are absolutely swamped with new merchandising opportunities for the newest "blue eyes black titanium metal silicon platypus dragon half-twist" =

Yugi's deck, and the dark magician! Remember the episode with joey and yugi fighting to see who would win and fight pegasus? and joey used his time master? and then yugi's card turned into a really old guy called the dark mage? and then joey tried to kill him, but the dark mage was really powerful? Man, great episode.

My fav card of my friend's is the pixie dragon....sooooooooooooo cute!!!
