I can't help but feel that there's a better subforum on this site for me to post this question in, but y'all were so helpful with my prayer question that . . . . I'm baa-ack. Cue the Poltergeist theme, etc.

Anyway, I came across a mention of A. W. Tozer in a book I'm reading, and I was wondering if any of you had read any of his work. If so, I'd love a recommendation. The guy did a lot of writing.

Since he was mentioned in the same breath as Isobel Kuhn and Amy Carmichael, I'll drop their names in the pot, too.

(And if you really can think of a better subforum for me to post this question in, feel free to point me there.)

Thanks as always from your friendly neighborhood chelonian.

best,
turtleopolis

Thanks to both of you for responding. Indagroove, that was exactly the kind of recommendation I was looking for - I'll pick The Pursuit of God up forthwith. The guy wrote a lot. It's good to have somewhere to start.

Have you read either of the other two writers I mentioned - Amy Carmichael or Isobel Kuhn?

This book can be read online .

Also "I Call it Heresy" is here too...

I have not read either of these two. I beleive my wife has some of Amy Carmichael's devotional books. More then one, so she must like her :)
