About 3 weeks ago me and my mum were going to Jersey and there were two women that we arranged to pick us up when we arrived. As usual in my family we were running late so my brother dropped us to the train station to take the train to the airport, along the way i kept suggesting to my mum why she dosent get my bro to drop us off at the airport! but she kept insisting on getting the train there. On our arrival to the airport, we went through various checks and when we finally got to the gate the lady had told us we missed the flight!
pure annoyance!
My mum then had to go to customer services to see if there was any more flights, to add to the dissapointment it was an buisness trip so it didn't look good for my mothers workplace. However luckily there were more flights that day, they told us that they could not put us on the one after the one we missed but we had to go on the one after which ment a 3 1/2 hour wait at the airport. We also had missed the ladies that were meant to pick us up. My mum then had to call a lady to arrange somebody else come to collect us. After walking around and doing nothing at the airport we finally borded the plane and when we got there the woman was standing there to drop us to our destination. During a conversation wit the woman she told us that the back window of the car that was meant to pick us up had smashed through into the car (me and my mum would have been sitting at the back as there were two ladies in the front). This would have causes great injury! Suddenly missing two flights did not seem so bad LOL
