The threats clearly are coming from Antifa, BLM and the FBI to make Donald's ardent faithful look bad and give the deep state a reason to take their guns.

You got the same email I did!

Deputy AG says GOP attacks on Justice Department have contributed to an ‘unprecedented rise’ in threats

Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly disparaged Lisa Monaco and other Justice Department officials involved in the various legal cases against him.

In an interview with ABC News that aired Sunday, Monaco, who oversees all Jan. 6-related cases, said that those accusations “bear no resemblance to the Justice Department that I know.

Monaco added there has been an “unprecedented rise in threats to public officials across the board,” including law enforcement agents, prosecutors, judges and election officials, and that the agency is responding to it.

Monaco noted that she receives “urgent reports” from U.S. attorneys nationwide nearly every week about “threats to public officials,” including DOJ employees.

Former Trump Officials Reveal Ongoing ‘Death Threats’ Silencing Republicans on Jan. 6 — Will Vote For Biden

During an appearance on ABC News, Sarah Matthews, a former deputy press secretary for the Trump administration, disclosed that a climate of “death threats” is the key factor muzzling ex-Trump officials from speaking out about the tumultuous events of January 6.

Matthews highlighted the genuine fear among Republicans that coming forward would lead to threats against their lives and their families.

“I knew that coming forward and speaking out against Donald Trump, I could potentially face security threats or death threats, online harassment,” Matthews stated, emphasizing the risks she and others faced.

Alyssa Farah Griffin echoed these concerns, pointing not only to the fear of retribution from Trump but also the disturbingly intense loyalty of his followers. Griffin described the threats, harassment, and intimidation as “horrifying” and unprecedented in her decades-long political career.

I have a sense there may be enough such stories that it may be efficient to collect them together. In the past there have already been threats to Alvin Bragg and the judge in that case. The Utah man who pulled a gun on FBI agents and was shot dead was first contacted over threats to Bragg. And probably several more in the past. But fresh today:

Texas woman arrested after threats to Trump judge Tanya Chutkan

Abigail Jo Shry, 43, allegedly phoned the court in Washington DC on 5 August and used a racial slur in her message for US District Judge Tanya Chutkan.
[ETA: the criminal complaint related to the OP says she started her message “Hey, you stupid slave [n-word]"]

In the call, Ms Shry allegedly told the judge, who is overseeing an election conspiracy case against Mr Trump: "You are in our sights, we want to kill you."
Prosecutors say Ms Shry added: "If Trump doesn't get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you."

She allegedly also threatened to kill congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, a black Texas Democrat who is running for mayor of Houston.

[She also made more general threats against all Democratic lawmakers in DC and the LGBT community]
[Story also notes that Trump supporters have been revealing personal details of the Georgia grand jury members, and there have been social media threats against them and Fani Willis]

Did you make a thread cataloging threats to judges after Roe v Wade?

How about a thread cataloging threats to Jewish students by pseudofascist left wing mobs on campus?

Have you considered that perhaps the problem on the right is a reaction to the problem on the left? If it's OK after Roe v Wade....what's wrong with threatening or intimidating these judges? If it's OK to burn down police stations and take control of city blocks....what's wrong with Jan 6th?

See? You should clean up the left....perhaps adopt some values, engage in debate and free speech instead of censorship and deplatforming. Demand accountability on your own side.

I mean...the Republicans at least booted Santos. He was a fraud. They have people who regularly criticize their own party. They even removed a Speaker.

We can at least say they’re are some still holding their side accountable on the right. Whenever the left threatens judges....nothing. When mobs of antisemitic racists are chasing Jewish students around campus....silence.

I know Biden is hitting record low approval ratings but it's not getting better by ignoring obvious problems on the left.

Yes, and they booted him BEFORE he was convicted of anything.

It's a simple question...and I'm not a hypocrite.

Yes, and they booted him BEFORE he was convicted of anything.

Right...and Biden's administration is free to pursue whatever charges they think are appropriate.

They just control Congress...not the executive branch.

Jack Smith Claps Back at Judge Cannon's 'Clear Error' in Ruling

He was reacting to Judge Aileen Cannon's decision to release unredacted discovery documents in the case at the request of Trump and media groups.

"That discovery material, if publicly docketed in unredacted form as the Court has ordered, would disclose the identities of numerous potential witnesses, along with the substance of the statements they made to the FBI or the grand jury, exposing them to significant and immediate risks of threats, intimidation, and harassment, as has already happened to witnesses, law enforcement agents, judicial officers, and Department of Justice employees whose identities have been disclosed in cases in which defendant Trump is involved," Smith wrote in a filing to Cannon.

White powder spills from envelope sent to Trump fraud judge: report

A suspicious envelope containing white powder addressed to New York Judge Arthur Engoron was intercepted at a Manhattan courthouse Wednesday, according to a report.

“Officers responded to a 911 call for a suspicious powder found at 60 Centre Street," police said. "A New York state court officer opened an envelope and white powder fell out. No injuries reported at this time and the building is not being evacuated."

Engoron placed the ex-president under a gag order at the start of the trial after a social media post about the judge's chief clerk drew a deluge of violent threats from apparent Trump supporters, and closing arguments were delayed after a bomb threat was called in to the courthouse.

Judge issues protective order on juror names for Trump N.Y. trial

New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan issued a ruling largely granting the request by the Manhattan district attorney’s office to shield the identifying details of prospective or actual jurors from the public to avoid possible harassment or tampering.

Trump, who is again seeking the presidency and is the likely Republican nominee, has a long history of publicly attacking people involved in legal proceedings against him. Prosecutors and judges and their staffs have received threats and harassing messages from Trump supporters after being criticized by him.

Trump's attacks 'finally have real consequences' as judge penalizes him beyond a fine

Specifically, New York Judge Juan Merchan said that he would not order the prosecutors to disclose a witness list to the defense team in light of Trump's recent attacks on figures connected to his hush-money case.

"We're not telling him who the witnesses are," a prosecutor said, according to reports.

"I can't fault them for that," Merchan replied, noting he would not order the prosecution to turn over a witness list.

Legal analyst and former prosecutor Renato Mariotti seemed to think this was a pivotal moment for Trump and his case. He quoted MSNBC, which reported that "Trump attorney Todd Blanche asked who the DA's Office plans to call as their first three witnesses. Joshua Steinglass from the office refused on the basis that Trump has been tweeting about them.

[Before someone again goes baselessly Sixth Amendmenty on this, obviously Trump and his team will be confronted with the witnesses. They are just not getting a list ahead of time. Because of Donald Trump's own actions.]

Haven't Trump's lawyers already gotten to depose the witnesses?
