Peter said that for God, a thousand years is the same as one day, and one day the same as a thousand years.

Quick and slow lose their meaning in the light of that.

What consequences does that have for understanding things like creation?

If Jesus rises in three days, does that mean it will be another 1000 years before Armageddon.

I hope so too be honest... it's annoying to watch some of these evangelicals getting so tumescent about the destruction in Israel/Palestine, thinking that this is it and they are about to get 'Raptured' or something.
Different people take this to mean different things, some don't think this means anything at all (literal six or seven days, etc) and some think this means each day is a literal 1000 years (6000 years ago, 1000 year reign of Christ) and still some think this means one of God's days can be a really long, long time (ages, or epochs, or other very long periods of time, etc), but which you believe, is really up to you, etc.

But Jesus rising in three days has nothing to do with the rapture or Armaggedon, or with what Peter said, as it already happened, and we already know that that was three of man's days, etc.

God Bless.
