That was the point....I didn't know. I just didn't know. I had never heard that term before.

You didn't mention that in your testimony, so assume this poster was talking to someone else, so don't worry!

Hey, Pinkie, I am so very sorry. I should have paid more attention to the person I was posting after! I replyed to the OP before I read the rest of the posts in the thread, so I in no way was intentionally referring to you or anything that you said.Please accept my sincerest apologies for the misunderstanding.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of the heresy hunters that we often come into contact with around here, that link us to web-sites that tell you what is wrong with everyone elses doctrine. The only point that I was making thereby was that knowing the Word is more important than knowing what is wrong with everyone else.

However, it looks like in your case it may have been helpful to have heard a warning about Reiki beforehand from someone that you trusted. But God is faithful, and He was able to keep you through it, and that is awesome.

Why should you be sorry - I appreciate you sharing this experience with us - how are we to know if we don't study, and learn, if we have never heard of it before (which I had not) but I am glad to know about it.

Thank you for this - it shows how easy deception can come in.
