I would just like to take the opportunity to thank all of those in the E & M section who support homosexuals and gay rights. It seems like that, at any given moment, there is a plethora of gay rights threads in E & M and there are always those same few who stick their neck out to help defend us gays and show their support. Well, this thread is about me showing my support and giving my thanks to YOU! (and YOU know who YOU are)

Sometimes, reading gay themed threads on this board can be pretty depressing with some of the more... hateful posters always seeming to voice their opinions the loudest. But, my feelings always come full circle when I read posts of other gays and some of you 'breeders' who support our position. It's really nice to know that some of you are on our side and to you all I give a great, big....

EDIT: This is not a debate thread. I don't want any finger-pointing, judgements, etc. In fact, if you are not a 'gay rights' supporter, then you may want to find another thread. I'm trying to be discriminatory, but I don't want any arguing in this thread. Thank you.

From a personal point of view, i like many others don't like to see discrimination of any kind, so supporting gays is and always will be mandatory as far as i'm concerned.

I find the obsession with homosexuality and the less than kind way of expressing that obsession on these boards quite depressing myself sometimes. That would be one of the reasons I was MIA for a few weeks there.
But I feel compelled to be one of the people with a little Christian logo that makes it clear we didn't all graduate from the 700 club school of theology.

I'm straight and find the homophobia too overwhelming sometimes to comment - though I try to hit every third or fourth diatribe. I don't know how you stand it. I never see these masses of overtly anti-gay rhetoric where I live. It just wouldn't be acceptable.
