Yes, that is a big part of it. But the answer I was looking for is a belief that they can become "like the Most High" They all believe that they can become gods which is Blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

That was only a small part of it. Lucifer wanted to become like the Most High. That is the lie he convinced Adam and Eve of, and that is the lie he has convinced many religions of the world of as well.
