A quick prayer needed please

I took a leave of absence to care for my mom 3 months ago only to notice that both my legs were swollen and I was putting on weight fast. I scheduled an appointment with my PCP and she claimed that my weight was the reason for my feet and my leg becoming swollen. Well I continued to gain weight and the swelling never went down so I Again scheduled an appointment to see her as I have to return to work soon but this time I wore shorts and sandals so she could see what I mean. I told her I was also having shortness of breath and after listening to my heart she decided I needed to see a cardiologist the same day. They couldn’t see me I guess so her office scheduled the appointment for this afternoon. I’m a bit frustrated because I finally did the adult thing and went to her the first time only to be dismissed and now this. Please keep me in your prayers and hope for the best. I also cough if I move the slightest or even for no reason at all.

That sounds like CHF congestive heart failure you need to get to a doctor IMMEDIATELY and get on some lasic pills. Your body is most likely retaining fluid. Do not elevate your feet because it will cause the fluid to retain in your chest area and cause shortness of breath and could restrict your heart function. GO TO THE HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY!! My father had CHF and these are the exact symptoms. Please I’m urging you to stop whatever you are doing and go TO THE HOSPITAL NOW. YOU COULD HAVE A HEATATTACK ANY MINUTE.

• Fluid and water retention. Less blood to your kidneys causes fluid and water retention, resulting in swollen ankles, legs, abdomen (called edema), and weight gain. Symptoms may cause an increased need to urinate during the night. Bloating in your stomach may cause a loss of appetite or nausea.

Congestive Heart Failure and Heart Disease

I saw the heart doctor and we had the EKG. The EKG is normal so she scheduled an ultra sound of the heart for June 8th. She has me at the hospital right now waiting for an ultrasound of my legs to check for blood clots. I’ll keep you all posted. Thank you so much for the prayers and concern.

Ok I had the ultrasound on both legs for clots and nothing was found so on June 8th I have an ultrasound of heart scheduled and she wants me to have blood work done for her also to check my kidneys. So far the results are good.
Again thank you all for your prayers and kind words. The weight that I gained is water weight so the cardiologist has me on medications to help me with that. I was prescribed a water pill.
