Of the 20 most recently posted in threads (i.e. the current front page) there are 10 threads dealing with "atheism."

Why are all these atheist threads in Ethics (business relationships) & Morality (family and sexual relationships)? Would they not be more appropriate in a theology folder?

This section seems to be a catch-all for ill-defined topics because ethics and morality is more broadly defined than even you have there (see the SoP). I agree there's a problem though since one guy posted 80% of those threads.

There's always the Christian Philosophy & Ethics forum. It might get more use if it were called the Christian Ethics (and maybe philosophy) forum or Ethics for Christians.

At least they are being posted in places where atheists can comment on them. Because it's clear from the threads that there is a lot of ignorance about atheism that might (I repeat might) be dispelled if people would listen to what actual atheists actually think.

At least they are being posted in places where atheists can comment on them. Because it's clear from the threads that there is a lot of ignorance about atheism that might (I repeat might) be dispelled if people would listen to what actual atheists actually think.

I personally don't think a discussion about atheism without any atheists is probably very fruitful.

I think we're currently in one of those "why are atheists on a christian forum" phases, where everyone tries to (best case) understand or (worse case) convert or (worst case) oust them.

It's best to wait until the whole thing has boiled down and the participants have either gone away, accepted the presence of atheists or been banned for being sock puppets.

I think if you read the work of who opened those threads, it becomes quite clear. I actually opened a thread in another part of CF and asked why they allow posters, to open 7-8 different threads in the same forum, in such a short period of time and why not set a limit.

On other forum sites I have been on such a practice was forbidden as "spamming."
