Tu connais "le patron"? Cherche-le sur Google. Ça te corrige automatiquement. Perso j'utilise jamais mais pour les débutants c'est pas mal comme outil.
"utils"... je sais pas trop quel serait le meilleur équivalent français, mais "truc" me semble pas mal (gadget, ou plus simplement outil).

The only effective ways you can improve your pronunciation imo is a) to listen to tonnes of French radio and TV - I mean like 4 hours a week for at least 10 weeks or so or b) talk to someone who speaks very good French and who will correct you every time you make a mistake.

It's quite disheartening at first, but it's a necessary process.

Bonne chance :)

I think that french prononciation is very easy once you've got the basics. It seems to me that we have a bunch of rules, with which you're able to read any new word correctly.

So i suggest you focus on pronouncing correctly the letters and syllables, and then words should follow.

This isn't the case in english. for instance, in "sword" and "word", the [o] is not the same, in "tomb" it's completely differend... "a" can be like in "hat" on "hate"... in french, an "a" is always an "a", except with some rules [an], [am], [ean], [eau], [au], [ai]...

The Rosetta Stone course has software that rates your pronuciation. Where I live (Maryland) you can get the course for free through the public library website, by entering your library card number.
