A question I don't think creationists will answer.

How did you become a creationist?

PS. If you do answer, you are more truthful than I thought you would be,
and I would like to apologise for doubting you.

I was born to a father who is a Creationist and raised to believe what he taught me. I also went to a Christian school run by Creationists.

Please note from other posts that I make no great claim to Creationism now.

Just like you became an atheist; I said in my heart that, In the beginning, God created...What if I would have answered with a lie?Apology accepted.

Maybe it is just me, but my heart doesn't talk. You ever do shows with it? I bet you could make a lot of money that way. Of course, you are probably content with your current life and not in need of much money, but you could donate it to help feed the 16,000 kids dying from hunger everyday.

Thank you very much for answering edrogati, you are the FIRST creationist,
(or Christian for that matter) to tell it like it is,
up until now every creationist insists they found creationism on their own.

I should think that the above is true of just about every creationist,
they were taught to be creationists be their parents,
which means they believe what someone else wanted them to believe.

We're creationists because our Father, which art in Heaven, is a Creationist ---

Logically, either the spontaneous occurence of the universe or its creation by an outside agency seem very unlikely; but it must be one or the other. The appearance of design in the universe leads me to conclude that it was created by an Intelligence.

Personally, I am a theistic evolutionist; but this Intelligence is so far beyond any I know of that I cannot rule out that it did it all in six periods of twenty four earth hours. I think the Genisis accounts are poetically and metaphorically true, keyed to a people who had more important things to learn than how they came to be, rather than factually true. But, fact is, I could be wrong.

If they still believe it as adults, then they choose to believe it. Very, very few people exist who, as adults, believe something in a complete absence of their own choice to do so.

I examined creation and came to the conclusion that it's virtually impossible for creation to exist without a creator.

Most of those who participated then aren't on here now.

Over the years of participating on various forums, I find that participants ebb and flow, come and go, here today, gone tomorrow. At least that keeps the forums somewhat fresh.

I noticed that the original poster consol said that most creationist if they are honest would say that they were born into it. That hey learnt it from their parents. My Dad was an atheist and my mum just didn't believe either way. I just happened to look at the moon one night and thought that had to be created. It just looked so alive and i could have sworn the moon then smiled at me.
