I want to know of:

Specific Messianic Judaism Church Doctrines:

My question involves marriage:

Q.)

Is it POSSIBLE for GOD to marry

a-man-and-a-woman

for

'their lives',

WITHOUT

a ceremony

or

a license

(This question is NOT to endorse sin IN ANY WAY.)

(I'm ONLY asking: Is it possible, according to Specific Messianic Judaism Doctrine.)

Thank you,

Peace in Christ.

I agree 100%

(Thank God someone else sees His power, as well.)

More please.

(I feel there are too many lies in other churches)

(Many DECLARE that GOD -CAN'T- JOIN A-MAN-AND-A-WOMAN FOR THEIR LIVES, WITHOUT MANKIND'S 'HELP'.)

I feel much DAMAGE is being done.

Help.

Why would a person not want to be recognized as married?
This sounds dangerously like an excuse to cover for "shacking up."
Since I don't know you, I do not know the intent in your question, I may be wrong.
I know that many years ago the Jews had no marriage ceremony, the consumation of the marriage was the ceremony, so to speak. But times have changed.
If a couple feels that God has married them, then it is an easy matter to make it official in the eyes of man.

Man traditions were set up to control and dictate, for what they call for the good of society. Marriage in the eyes of God is very different. As it has been said before look at Adam and Eve....joined together become one flesh. If we went back to that exclusively, then the "secredness of the joining" would be held up higher that the little piece of paper and pomp and ceremony does today. I am not against the ceremony and tradition of friends and family witnesses the testimony of two verbally committing themselves to each other before man and God. IN fact, I highly recommend it. I believe it is good to throw a feast for such a joyous occasion.

It is my STRONG belief...

That people have become 'bound for their lives', and then 'split up' (what CAN'T be 'split up).

However...

They CANNOT EVER see it in that way, because...

They've been taught that GOD NEEDS a 'ceremony and a piece of paper'.

(and that WITHOUT THESE, HE CAN'T marry the two.)

THEREFORE:

What God has joined together, MAN has seperated

(with false teachings about HOW: GOD- joins a-man-and-a-woman for 'their lives'.)

Thank you

(more replys are MOST welcome)

Peace in Christ.

I dont entirely understand the question but my thoughts are that we are told to obey the laws of the land, and in our land in order to be seen as "married" we need to file a marriage certificate.
We're also told to stay away from the very appearance of evil, and to not be a stumbling block to other people.
Calling ourselves "married" but not going thru the proper avenues could cause other people to believe "shacking up" is fine and dandy.

You might find this article helpful:

http://www.mercyseat.net/BROCHURES/marriagelicense.htm

I actually reprinted the article here in this thread, which you may also want to read:

http://www.christianforums.com/t1173360-define-marriage-as-you-understand-it.html

Just to clarify, the article linked above is written by a Christian pastor, and my opinions stated in the thread linked above are my own conclusions.

On re-reading your original post, you seemed to be asking for kind of an "official" Messianic Judaism position on the issue, so I just wanted to clarify that the information I provided is not meant to imply a congregational consensus on the matter.

Don't know yet if I am getting the question, but I think a marriage relationship is covenant. The only reason G-d 'allows' divorce, I think, is because of sin. I think Jesus said something to that effect.

Divorce is a result of sin in the world, in people's lives. Still don't know for sure what you are asking.
