Who hasn’t? Any serious student of prophecy must always keep a check on their development. Some things are certainly a mystery as far as I’m concerned, not everything but there are always questions. You can only do the best you can do, and as you mature in the Lord sometimes better understandings of the texts unveil themselves giving you a new perspective if you are open to it. I went through that in my early 20’s especially, it made me move entirely from one type of theology and denomination to another after about seven or eight years of being a Christian. So yeah, for sure.

I can honestly say I did'nt get it wrong. I can also honestly say i did'nt get it right either. Hahahahaha.... I can honestly say I had no clue.
When I was a kid, Lindsey was an influence although I was somewhat skeptical about some of his teachngs. However, he turned out to be a false prophet and just a book seller. Nearly everything written on eschatology since then has been based on his work by varying degrees, and virtually all of it wrong.
One thing I've found out, what's popular is usually wrong. And the few, well actually the only two I know of, who tell the truth provide the truth for nothing and most people hate them.

Hi

I agree with everyone else. Who hasn't.

I started of Amill....................then became a fundamentalist with pretrib doctrine etc etc.................then got into the duality thing and British Israelism with the Church of God...............once again there were just too many things that did not add up.......................the more and more I studied the more it seemed clear there was a big huge piece of the puzzle missing. Then I studied with some Messianic Jews............of the modern Israel is an Abomination against God flavour......................there are two types of messianic Jews those who support Israel and those who oppose it as Zionism. I must say I learned allot about prophecy from the Messianic Jews I studied with but still the big piece was missing. It was not until I decided to take a different approach that things all fell into place for me.

I decided to take the same approach that Daniel took.

3: And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplication, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 4: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 5: We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:

So I prayed to God to forgive Christianity for its sins......................In case you are wondering what those sins are here is a short list.....................
The wars for control of Doctrine The Crusades the subjugation of the Americas, the burning of Heretics and Witches. WW I, WWII, all carried out by so called Christians…………We pile excess luxury upon excess luxury we destroy food crops to keep the commodities markets high so we have good profit while the creation of God dies of starvation all over the world…… Need I go on.

So anyway I did that but not in public not with two or three but as Jesus tells us
Mt:6:6: But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
I did not ask for a better job or more money to win the lottery a better house I did what Jesus said.

31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?32: (For after all these things do the Pagans seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

i did not say the rosary or say some bable over and over......................No for we are told not to do that.

7: But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.9: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

So

1. Ask for forgiveness of the Sins of your Nation (ie Christianity)
2. Do not ask for material things ask for Understanding.
3. End your supplications with ONE SINGLE Our Father.

Do this with a sincere heart and the truth will be shown to you I guarantee it.

This is when the big piece of the puzzle fell int oplace and then it all made perfect sense from beginning to end.

Let's see, I read the bible twice before getting saved and read it three more times within my first year. By the end of my first year I had heard my first radio program on the subject and realized that the experts weren't telling me anything I didn't know.
Eschatology is but one of the topics that one is exposed to when reading scripture, every reading makes you remember details, associations are made, topics are followed from Genesis to Revelations and soon enough you get to understand concepts like prophecy.
Most people will tell you that God has a way of doing things the same way always...
Biblical precedent is but an extension of this principle, it implies that God sets precedent and then follows it throughout scripture and through the last days.
If you take this into account, you will see that most of the functional details within the last days comes from the old testament and are examples of precedent set and followed.

Everyone has gone through the experience of reading and listening to the experts, yet the fact that we have so many people in this website asking about the last days tells us that the experts' opinions just don't add up.
Only a theologian can state that God will inspire prophecy and not make it come to pass and get away with it.
These are the people that tell you that you can't use outside sources, that you have to toe the line, basing every opinion on the cited work of others and that each opinion depends on the denomination they belong to...
They don't know what is legal precedent is let alone prophetic precedent, they are experts on cataloging verses yet they can't explain anything.
As true scholars they are fond of the elaborate systems they painstakingly construct, yet the last thing they do is read the bible, it shows...
They don't know of all the verses within Revelations that come from the old testament let alone explain why they are there, sooner or later we all just disregard the book sales and just get down to reading the bible and coming to our own conclusions.
