No one really knows what goes on in the brain after flatline. Although all medical indicators may say brain dead... they come back so they were not irretrivably dead, so their brains must have been still active.

We are admonished to be aware of them and to put on the full armor of God so we are not fooled by them, but we are not kept from them.
