I have a GeForce 4 440 mx,and recently I started having problems with games that need a graphic card.First a couple of games(MDK 2,Vietcong) didn`t work for me that I borrowed from my friends,but I didn`t pay to much attention to it,after that I tried to run my old Max Payne(that used to work),and it didn`t work because of presumably graphic problems,then I tried running a few more games that also didn`t work...Morrowind(graphic rendering error),Operation:Flashpoint(Cannot create 3d device) and NBA 2003.I know I didn`t say a lot of helpful things,but that`s because I`m totaly confused.Can anyone anyhow please help me???

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

have you done anything to your computer lately? Updated any drivers or anything? It sounds like you're having the infamous Detonator hassles that planted nVIDIA firmly on the "we can't make a set of drivers to save our life" map.
Any updates? Changes in devices? Reinstall of windows or anything? Help us out by telling us what windows you have, direct x version, system, etc

No newer updates I can think of,no new devices,Windows ME,DirectX 9,AMD Athlon 1.2 Ghz,anything else,it really confused me,because it just happened suddenly...

Ok, the next thing to try, if you changed nothing, is to pop that card out and put another nVIDIA card in. Make sure you have a good version of the Detonator drivers installed, as opposed to the ones that came with the card. As a reference driver kit, they are universal. That is the thing to try first, is to make sure you are using recent Detonators, btw.
Try your games and see if anything changes.
