Lord I bring to you those who will go out on patrol. I pray that servciemen and women will come back with testimonies of how YOU (and only YOU) saved them from harm, from ambush, landmines, APM's, booby-traps and RPG's. Many are talented young men, who enjoy soport, or might be taelnted musicians in their spare time. Fathers, brothers, boyfriends, friends, who will have people waiting for them.

I pray that you would give courage to those who have lost sight, sense, limbs or mobility to carry on with the war of living. Holy Spirit, won't you heal those who have been emtionally hurt through contacts (with the enmy, or enemy action) and are not the same in mind. I pray you will heal hearts and minds. I pray also that you will keep strong those back in their home countries, who they thought loved them, and wrote to say that they had changed their mind.

Mike (my dad) is over in Iraq. He has been home for two weeks on R&R and will fly out tomorrow morning (8-12-07) and head back for Iraq. He is serving in camp victory as the multi-national command chaplain (I think that's the official title, lol, its long). We would appreciate the prayers for our family and our loved one while he is over there.

Moriah's son, Damien, has just enlisted in the Army and ships off to boot camp next month (Apr 16) at Fort Benning! He will be taking basic training and then advanced training after that. Please keep him in your prayers that he stays safe and that his training bes good for him, bringing him strength, confidence and courage, tempering and refining him and giving him the mastery of himself and his life that he seeks.

Though it bes worried of course about him being eventually placed in harms' way, it bes very excited for him!
