That kind of mutation while very important to your personal survival it does not effect evolution.

Having a trait that increases your likelihood of developing cancer might be a problem for the ongoing survival of your offspring, but a new mutation that does not effect your reproductive cells is not relevant.

What you can't do is rely on undifferentiated mutation; undifferentiated mutation, basically just forms a glut, that becomes cancerous.

True adaptation, compounds instinct with death to the flesh, until the soul is able to resonate with it.

If your soul does not resonate with your adaptation, you can't survive.
