  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I selected girls because that is all I really know. I am the youngest of 3 girls and I have a daughter.

I'm sure there are pros and cons with both. I wouldn't mind having a son, but honestly if I could choose the next baby's gender I would want another little girl. I'm all about tea parties and pink.:tutu:

All boys. ;)

Lol...looks like I know who the other boys choice is now :p I definitely would like to have a girl but if I had to choose all one gender definitely boys. I know how intense girls in close proximity can be especially during those teenage years.

If I get to keep my baby girl, I'd go all boys from here out. Ideally I'd want a mix. If I had a boy first I'd say I want all girls from here on out. Maybe cheating the original intent of the poll, but for me having at least one of each is where our hearts are. Of course we also want to foster.

I sure was excited to have girls, but in reality, for me anyway, the boys have been so much easier... They're harder when they're little, but when they get older they are SO helpful and respectful! The girls have PMS and there is too much estrogen running around... LOL
